| Filed under: Nintendo Wii, First Person Shooters, Video High Voltage Software's The Conduit has an interesting backstory. It popped up out of nowhere back in April, giving hope of satisfying that unfilled void of a mature first-person shooter for Wii, and remained without a publisher for about six months until Sega finally picked it up. Of course, what really sparked interest was the impressive, dare we say not Wii-like visuals. The folks at Gametrailers have a video comparing an early and pre-rendered build to its current state. It's a fun -- if not too short -- before-and-after look at the FPS. See it for yourself after the break. The Conduit is expected to hit retail sometime this Spring. %Gallery-33787% Continue reading The Conduit: Then vs. now The Conduit: Then vs. now originally appeared on Joystiq on Mon, 19 Jan 2009 20:59:00 EST. | To be perfectly honest, this game's graphics look even worse than Goldeneye's ...(which was good at the time, but not now). What's up with this? |

Well the graphics diffently impresses me which shows if a small devoloper can do this why don't any of big names produce decient graphics then. For a Wii game this looks really extremely good | |

| As incredibly generic and dull as it looks, I'll probably end up picking it up just to own a real FPS for the Wii and give a "hardcore game" some sales over the next Carnival Games.

| I've never played any Monster Hunter game but I can't imagine me enjoying any of them...catching monsters and raising them? Sounds incredibly boring...but that just might be me. |

| I've never played any of them either, but after watching a few trailers (and finding out it had co-op) I realised this looked like one of the greates games EVAR! Yes, with and a. Plus it's mad by capcom, and they have rarely let us down ...... well, except with the Wii version of Dead Rising. That game looks awful. I'll just wait til Dead Rising 2 comes out as I'm getting a 360 sometime soon. I think around q2. |

Blog Entries: 9 | As good as the game may look as far as Wii standards are concerned, from all I've seen it still looks rather generic. I think I'll stick to my shooters on my comp; now there's customization you'll never see on consoles.

| Mega mole | The fact that it's an FPS doesn't warrant a purchase...but getting into deathmatches with all of you?....i'm there...if they put a decent multiplayer option in the game |

| This looks great. Just as long as the gameplay lives up to the type. |

| Same here. Also, what is the point of this article? All games look like crap at first. |

| It is showing the development of the engine more than the game. Features are added over time and this video attempts to show that.
