| Nobody knows yet except Nintendo, and even they may not have a release date for it. There are no confirmed dates for VC releases apart from some Turbografx and the odd other game e.g. Super Mario Bros. 3 in the US. We'll just have to wait I'm afraid... |

| Plus, it came out for N64, and Nintendo is only giving us 1 N64 game per month. It'll be a while. |

| What makes you think we know? Also, protect the English language. Expect it in a span of 8 months to 16 months or so.

| I'd say you can expect it in a span of 1 day to 5 years. And that's all we know, really. |

| From what I heard, was the Gamecube disc that contained four Zelda games had a rough emulation with MM anyway? That could be the reason it's being halted. I can be wrong. |

By the way, you seem to forget they've released Ocarina already, so this disc can't be the reason they're still not releasing Majora's.

| Casual gamer since 1978 | False. The only problem in MM is the audio that has a brief clipped noise somewhere, I don't remember, it's something that happens often, though, like opening the inventory or something like that that is done several times, so the noise is actually frequent through the game. But it isn't anything that harms your ears, your sanity or the gameplay. It can be annoying of course, and those who feel bound to the original will surely get angry every times it pops up. So, the problem exists, but it isn't a real problem. Keep your feet on the ground.

| Big Boo | Well, I played trough the entire game on the GameCube and didn't hear any soundglitch even once, and they're even warning the player about a slight noise when loading the game. Though I've heard of people having really buggy versions were the game freezes and stuff like that.

| Lakitu | On one hand it has a lot of demand going for it, but I wouldn't wait up for a while. It might be a little hard to emulate too, what with the expansion pack thing on the N64. It's an amazing game though, and it's something that everyone would want to buy. Really it's a shot in the dark. I don't want to make any promises either way, because really the chances are about equal.

| The Expanison Pak is for having additional 4MB RAM on the N64. I suppose, the Wii has these additional 4MB RAM right from the beginning, so this is certainly not the reason. Majora's Mask is just waiting for the right time. Yo, you Zelda fanatics, there are 10 Zelda games you can play on Wii. Have you beaten them all? If you can't wait for Majora try one of these instead: 1. The Legend of Zelda (VC) 2. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (VC) 3. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (VC) 4. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (VC) 5. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) 6. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC) 7. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (GC) 8. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC) * 9. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (including Master Quest) (GC) 10. The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition (four Zelda games including Majora's Mask, Wind Waker demo and GC/GBA trailers) (GC) * *highly recommended Last edited by SKTTR; 18th November 2007 at 04:27 AM. |

| Apparently you do know even though everyone else doesn't. Even if you think its a stupid thread to post it's not your place to say so. Leave that judgement up to the mods. In the meantime I suggest you can your negativity. Your post history speaks for itself. Go to GameFaqs or Ign's forums if you want to be eleventeen years old.

| today i bought the zelda collectors edition for gamecube. it was 45 € but i saw it and got it without thinking twice. 45 € ... it's worth for Majora alone. well, i'm lucky i haven't downloaded any zelda games for VC. i wanted to get Zelda II, Zelda 1 and Zelda III.... but instead i got Majora for gamecube back again, yeah. now the last game thats missing in my gamecube collection is ikaruga. |

| Hi guys, Is there a significant graphical or framerate improvement in MM over Ocarina? The framerate in Ocarina (on VC) really hindered my experience..Its going to be a deciding factor in purchasing MM if or when it comes around. Cheers, Andrew |

| the graphics in MM are better then in OoT.It was the first n64 game to need the expansion pack, the only way the game could function.due to it's beautifull graphics.the expansion pack came along with the game at the time.I would say that yes, there's definetly been an improvement. |

| Morton Koopa Jr | Probably a long time because It's A) a n64 game B) one of the n64s greatedt titles C) It's the last vc Zelda game

| Not quite the last. If the GB gets added, then you ve got the utterly awesome Link's Awakening, the 2 Capcom Ages/Seasons games and the Minsh Cap (If the GBA ever gets added) And if they ever unlikey decide to add the Philips CD-I to the VC... XD XD XD |

If they release this game on the VC retaining its PAL speed and framerate, it won't be as pretty and enjoyable as the 60Hz edition in the compilation. Last edited by ICEknight; 26th January 2008 at 04:27 PM.

| Have never been able to get into this one. I first tried it in the Zelda Collection and liked it the least out of all of them. Maybe it hasn't aged well? Having not experienced it during it's rightful time I have no nostalgia for it. Can't believe it's been 4 years since I got the zelda collection either, yikes. I bought a whole new GC 2nd hand just to get hold of it. |

But I'd like to play Zelda 3 on the TV and I want the SNES feeling without Link's screaming, so I will get it on VC later. I couldn't get the Collector's Edition anywhere at that time. I was lucky to get a complete, but used copy this month. But I also downloaded Zelda 2 last week. A nice Zelda collection on Wii would be the best, so I'm getting 1+3, too. But I like to beat Zelda 2 again first. The Rumble-cut in OoT and Majora still keeps me from loading them. I can wait until Nintendo updates them with rumble support, since I have good versions of both games on N64 and Gamecube. And Majora is definately my top-choice. It's genius. It's maybe the most notional and best-planned action-adventure game ever. It's dark and moody, challenging, adventurous, scary, and it's living. It's time-mechanic is lovable and unique. The setting is fantastic. When all hype is calming down in ten, twenty or fifty years, Majora's Mask is The Outstanding Zelda Game! When I first played it, it was absorbing and frustrating because the Zelda world got destroyed several times. But the frustration of doing 2 or 3 dungeons 2 or 3 times was a relief with every new puzzle you solved, every new item you got... and basically, what I'm just saying: Keep at it. If you really give up, I'm personally coming to help you out.

| it's surely the best zelda game, and people say it's not as good as ocarina and wind waker, because they simply don't get how genious this game actualy is. It's a beautifull game, with it's incredible light efects. And it escapes from the land seen in all zelda games, and come up with a tropical world, with jungles and heavy rain. And beauty is a word that can also be used to describe the music, much better then in ocarina. This is also the most chalenging 3D zelda game so far, even with the small number of four dungeons. I maybe exagerating because it was my first zelda game and i was really young when i bought it,but i have the impression this is the most impressive game ever.

| I won't be giving it another go any time soon, I'm just not in the mood for that style of game. I don't know what it is about it though, even when I had been in the mood something about it always put me off. I have been playing Zelda 2 lately though, it might as well not be a Zelda game at all but I do like it a lot. |

| Though it has now been reprinted, I would love to see a Master Quest version of the game. It was just a bit too easy. Of course, I really should go 3-heart it once.

| Do you like my helmet? | I'm hoping this gets a VC release sometime in my lifetime. It's really the only N64 game I'm looking forward to, and I don't really care to shell out the big bucks for the Collector's Edition disc because I already have the other three games that are on it. :S

| Bob-omb | you can reduce MM on the zelda collectors disc from screwing up if you turn off the rumble.
