Default New Wii Engine Two Be Released!

There is going to be a new Wii Game Engine that is set to make the Wii preform as good as the PS3!
I don't know if it's true or not but here is a link with the info:

It'll be nice for developers to start pushing the limits of what the system of capable of doing. We see this with every generation of consoles. Think about the first round of games that came out on the PS2, and then look at some of the games that were being released late in its life (God of War 2 comes to mind). So if we get developers pushing the Wii this early in its life, it'll be a nice contrast to the facile "deliberate graphical simplicity" we know and love right now.

Still, I don't see their dream of making a PS3 looking game for the Wii as a reachable goal since they Wii cannot handle that much polygons and lightning effects as you could see on the tech demo on YouTube. But it seems like it will reach...maybe Half-Life 2 in graphics or something like that?

Though I'm happy that this engine exists and I hope that developers will start using it instead of PS2 graphics.

Default Wii Power

The Wii is a bit more powerful than a original Xbox already.
The original Xbox had Half-Life 2 on it remember, so Wii should be able to play games like Oblivion I'm guessing.

Keep in mind Oblivion is old now but it's graphics are still good.

I'm not holding my breath, but I will admit this: should the Wii wind up having supercool awesome grafix!!1one1 in the end, comparable to that of the 360 or PS3, I will laugh my ass off.

If this is true, wii most likely wont have exact graphics as PS3. Maybe similar, but not exact. But It will be nice to play a good graphical game on wii. and if this is true, more developers will aim for wii, and then all of those 360 fans won't have anything to laugh at. And then Next gen studios will rethink never developing for wii.

I doubt this is true but I'll hope and dream with everyone else that it is.

Default New Zelda

If this engine does get released, Nintendo should create a new Zelda game for Wii with awsome Oblivion/Two Worlds graphics.
