I agree with Spore that someone thats not band should make a new poll so I did.

What do you think the best console is? Dont say PC thats not a console.

I think the Playstation 3 is the best because of Blu-Ray, Ok online play and the best graphics out of the three Consoles. The Playstation 3 also lets you download old Playstation games, PSP can aslo do the same thing. You can connect a PS3 with a PSP when you first set it up, Wii can't do that with DS.

PC. Oh, oh wait a second... Fine then, 360 followed by PS3 and Wii which are tied for last. Once Brawl comes to America, Wii will be in second and once Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out, PS3 will be in second. 360 has so much software and of course they have XBLA. Also, I love how there are so many indie games getting onto live more and more. I'm a huge fan of the indie scene (another reason PC is just so great) and seeing a console take some real steps into the field is wonderful. Also, XNA. Awesome.

I reckon the death of HD-DVD will hit X360 sales, and give PS3 a huge boost. What that means for Wii, I don't know, as the PS3 has a lot of work to do to catch up.

As for "best" console, I'd probably say PS3, as it can do everything the X360 can, plus it's a Blu-Ray player and it doesn't catch fire 50% of the time. My favourite? Wii by a mile, simply because of its philosophy of abandoning the ridiculous graphics arms race of the other two consoles.

Doubt it. As MS have actually been making a Blu Ray player for the 360 in secret. They're going to release it pretty soon.

If true, it's still in the PS3's favour, as everything comes in the box, rather than having to buy an add-on.

Sony makes Blu-Ray and they wont allow let Xbox 360 use it.

I wouldn't be so sure. While disallowing Micro$oft's use of Blu-Ray might very well lead to the PS3 supplanting the X360, there's also money to be made in licensing the technology out to a rival, especially considering the installed user base of the X360.

It's also worth remembering that Sony is a big company, and that the part that makes the PS3 is not the same as the part that makes Blu-Ray, and they make different business decisions.
