I hope this is real, I love Duck Hunt but I can't play it any more because my TV is 100hz. It looks pretty authentic, I mean how would one even go about faking such a thing? Just one thing raises my suspicion, he says the disc wasn't labeled, so he just thought he'd put it in his Wii? Doesn't really make much sense.

Well according to the guy his dad works for Hudson and what does Hudson make on disks? Wii games. Anyway, this is more fit for a Wiiware thing that cost 5 dollars at most. The concept of shooting moving targets with a light gun loses appeal pretty fast.

I suppose, yeah. I really want to play this now, Duck Hunt is one of my favourite games of all time. Sure you can't play it for too long but it's well worth cracking out every few months, especially if you've got some friends over for a few drinks.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see an updated Duck Hunt get released through Wii Ware. Nintendo has already confirmed that an updated Dr. Mario is going to be released via the service so why not Duck Hunt too? The original NES game used the light gun and since VC games don't feature Wii Remote functionality it stands to reason that the only way we'll see a game like Duck Hunt on Wii is in an updated form that supports the Wii Remote's IR pointer.

Sure, but that video looks like a hoax while the updated Dr. Mario screamed OFFICIAL NINTENDO SOFTWARE all over it.
