Default New Adventure Island

Has anyone else downloaded this? I can't get past level 2-1, do I just suck or is everyone else finding it as difficult as me?

Pulled it down a while back. Definitely has it's more difficult moments, what with the one-hit-wonder vibe, but I managed to finish it eventually.

Good luck,

Jeff

One of my favorite Adventure Island games, it's a shame that there were not any more released for the TG16... especially since Hudson made the game.

2-2 is a nightmare, once you get there you will most likely get so frustrated that you will wish that you never got it! I did

Nah man, it's doable. Just keep trying. Practice makes perfect. I remember beating this game when I was a child. Tough, yes. Impossible, no.

i downloaded this game tonight, and got level 6-2 in just over an hour. had never played it before, seems quite easy so far for the most part. there are one or two bits that got me a couple of times. i stopped playing for the day after about the 5th time i died on 6-2. fun game though!

(edited because i originally put 5-2 but it was actually 6-2)

well, came home from work tonight in finished the game within 20 mins. that was far too easy! the game is a lot of fun though, it would be interesting to see if i could do a speed run through it without dieing. the game almost seems custom designed for speed runs, by the physics of the way it plays. shame there isn't a timer and a ranking system at the end of the game to show you well you did. hard to say whether it was worth the 600 points...

...on one hand i really enjoyed it, on the other hand, the game is done now.

I am getting there, I am up to world 3 now, I now see that you just need to keep calm and not get to worried about your health, and figure out where you should and shouldn't jump.
