Default Neutopia Wiiware

Seeing as Hudson-soft are making a sequel/re-release of Alien crush, it would be awesome if they brought out Neutopia 3 on Wiiware.

Any ideas?

Highly unlikely. Those crush games feature pretty simplistic and "timeless" gameplay elements, but adventure games (like Neutopia) have progressed so far since the originals were released that a WiiWare Neutopia in the old-school adventure-RPG style seems like a stretch of the imagination.

Besides, it's not like we're getting a lot of this kind of game on the VC/WiiWare anyway, so there's not a whole lot of impetus to go around creating new ones.

Neutopia 3 was planned for the Turbo Graphx, But It wasn't finished.

I'd like to see it be put on Wiiware, or possibly on VC as a prviously unfinished game. But Chances of those happening are unlikley...

We're unlikely enough as it is to see this kind of game polished up and released as WiiWare, but if they have to go back and actually finish the game, then the chances are even slimmer.

We poor fans of abandoned series. It's even more painful when they half-make a game and then give up. However, I'm just thrilled to have the original two Neutopia games back after so many years.

What Hudson-soft have is Their "Zelda" basically.
So why not ressurect the series?
Maybe if big Neutopia fans made it clear, Hudson soft will listen?

If they were to resurrect the series, it would probably have to be with a full-fledged new Wii game rather than a retro WiiWare title. But that's just my intuition, and I'm not a developer. I don't know that Neutopia had a big following, though... it seems to me like more of a cult game.
