Anyone here have memories of Monster Party? It's a platformer, and it is insanely wierd. The first level has the most blood and gore of any NES game, and the bosses are incredible; on one occasion, you actually fight a giant fried shrimp. I'm not kidding.
-Gameplay Video- http://youtube.com/watch?v=dfHUmklus_E This game deserves a sequel, or at least a good hack. I wonder if Monster Party could make it's way to the Virtual Console?

I think it has as much a chance as the Golgo 13 games (which is pretty low). I do have to wonder what it would be rated now though due to its first level, the bloody skeletons on the stage introduction screen, and its disturbing ending. I give it credit though being number two on my top two games that scare the crap out of me (number one being Uninvited).
