Mega Man 9 Is Coming To WiiWare In Retro Style
Time to rejoice! As you might remember, a while ago we mentioned "Mega Man 9" had received an OFLC rating. We did not know the platform at the time, but speculated it could very well be a Wii or WiiWare release due to Capcom's always strong.. Now THIS is what I wanted WiiWare to be all about! I want to see more companies developing brand new games for what are basically old systems. A brand new NES Mega Man?! Awesome!

Awesome. I remember reading elsewhere it would come to XBLA and PSN, and prayed this'd be a Wiiware game. Props for using the 8-bit style instead of the updated 2.5D style like the PSP game. Hopefully this will mantain the old-school challenge with the graphics. Now Sega, this is your cue to make Sonic 4!

I'm blocked here at work from checking out Wiiware world but I'm guessing from what everyone else has posted and the title of the thread that a new 2D NES style Mega Man game is coming to WiiWare. That's awesome news. I'm surprised that they didn't wait to push this at E3 to support Wiiware. Since I'm blocked, can someone tell me if there's a release date?

Wish they did use my Super Mega Man; 16bit colored 8bit sprites style, that would rock man(  ).
