Master System hitting US "soon", 400 points per game

In a press release issued today, Sega has announced that Master System games will indeed be heading to the US Virtual Console. The games will cost 400 Wii Points each, 100 less than in Japan, where they're 500 each. The first two games will be Wonder Boy..

Niffty, we re getting em cheaper, providing Europe gets them for 400 point (Come on Ninty/Sega, this was the country that made the SMS a sucess! At least give us the same treatment as America!)

Excatly...and probably of the poorest games they can find on the system.

Its Nintendo's Console, so they have the right to make their NES games look more better (In terms of price) then the SMS games.

And note, Japan only pays 600 points for MD games. Will this mean price for all Sega consoles will differ in Japan and the West? o.o

I think it really depends on the market. Maybe they thought Japanese gamers wouldn't pay 800WP for Genesis games. I have a feeling this means European gamers may have to pay 500WP for SMS games, simply because the system did so well there and Nintendo figures they'll be willing to part with the extra buck... Sorry chaps. I hope I'm wrong.
