First of all sorry for making a whole new thread for this but I really want to know. Ok for christmas I got zack and wiki, zapper, mario strickers charged, and big brain age (wii). I like zapper and wiki, but I dunno about strickers and brain age. I played strickers before, but I wasn't a big fan, I think it was a little boring, and had some things I did not like. But should I keep it for online, and multiplayer, or is it better to return it. And brain age I've never played before, and I have no clue if I'll like it. So I haven't opened ether of these gane so I want to know if I should return them, maybe get twilight, metroid 3 or something. So I just kinda need advice, because I don't like returning things because the person put so much thought into it thinking I'd like them, so please help me out. Also these would be my only wii wi-fi games, so...
-thanks

If you thought Mario Strikers was boring then it is rather likely that you'll really grow tired of it after a while. I actually liked the game at the beginning, but it just became too repetitive. I sure got tired of games ending up becoming long periods of passes (to charge the ball). Some of its creative side had nice touches, but that couldn't save it for me. Online or not, it's not going to change much in the end. I'd probably recommend for you to return it, since you already find it not so hot.
As for Big Brain Academy I couldn't say. Personally, it never interested me. *shrugs* If you do end up returning one (or both) of them Twilight Princess and/or Metroid Prime 3 would make fine choices. While I like both I'd probably pick TP over MP3, but that's all a matter of personal preference.

I had Mario Strikers and after playing it a fair bit for the first month or so, I stopped because I got bored of it, even though I'm an avid football (*soccer*) fan. I just wasn't fond of the Wi-Fi (and probably never will, Nintendo need to sort it out) and the game just didn't hold my attention for long enough. If you're bored of it now I suggest you return it and get another game instead, maybe RE: UC, NiGHTS, MoH etc.
As for Brain Age, it never realy interested me so I don't really know what to say on it.

I have Brain Academy for the DS and if the Wii version is anything like it, just return it and get a real game in its place. It's software that is made for adults who want to do math problems and memorization puzzles and other educational stuff like that.
Mario Strikers I've never played but I'm not a soccer fan at all and therefore it has no appeal to me. |

I'll join the chorus and say that Super Mario Strikers was fun for a bit, but got old really quickly.
A big part of this for me was the uneven difficulty. On the easy cup, I normally beat the CPU with scores like 30-5, but on the normal setting, it's totally the reverse; the CPU never seems to miss the goal and ALWAYS has powerups. I also don't like that you can't turn off the stage traps, which get to be incredibly annoying. The online didn't add in anything for me, either. I've only played a handful of matches; people seem to either disconnect if they're losing a match, or else do a lot of cheese moves to run up the score. Even FIFA - as flawed as that franchise is, especially with the 08 Wii version, which actually takes out a lot of stuff from previous versions (no season mode? WTF?) is a much better soccer game than SMS, and the online component is done with a lot more polish and options. I haven't played Brain Age, but I would think if you just want to do math/problem solving/IQ test kind of stuff, there's plenty of sites online that you can do that for free. RE 4 definitely trumps RE: UC. Then again, they're both somewhat different games. Although, I'm not sure what your parents would say about you getting either one of them. =P

I'd say RE4. It's longer, has a ton of features, looks gorgeous and will keep you busy for hours.

Since you're 12, I'd go for Cosmic Family. =P
