Ah, I love this game but I'm way off completing it, so I'll just avoid this thread for now ; ).

I got this on the GBA a while ago for a tenner, but I never really enjoyed it as much as the other Zelda games. I'd probably enjoy it more on VC, but I can't help thinking it's a waste to buy it twice if I never liked it that much...

I found this game much easier to enjoy on a big screen than on the game boy advance.

Hmm, probably the same here. I know I'll end up downloading next time I get really into Zelda

I doubt it could beat Link's Awakening, or the 3D ones. They were simply awesome

I prefer SNES Zelda to the 3D ones, although they're all excellent. I'd love to play Link's Awakening (Gameboy) though, as I hear that that's the best of the 2D ones. I never played it first time around, as I had a GB for only a very short while, so I missed a lot of games.

Link's Awakening was the first Zelda game I actually played through. The handheld ones are surprisingly (or maybe not) outstanding. That includes the Oracle games and the GBA one whose name escapes me... Wikipedia to the rescue: The Minish Cap. It was a bit short though...
