King Story!

Yasuhiro Wadas new project, King Story is a mix between RPG gameplay, real-time strategy and life simulation.
You take control of a boy named Corobo whom becomes king using a magical crown! Pretty simple, eh? As a king, your task is to gain the trust of your people, build your empire from scratch and battle monsters!

Here's some quotes from the creator himself:

"It's similar to Harvest Moon in that it's a family-orientated game and is aimed at gamers that have got bored of other games"

"It incorporates life-sim elements. You could say it's like Sim City or Sim World. However, in Sim World the player takes on the role of God to create a world, but in King Story the gamer plays among the people and creates the world around them from ground-level, not as God"

"It will be a single-player game, with no plans for multiplayer. We've not really thought about Wi-Fi functionality yet either, but gamers will be able to download extra content."

I really like the look of this game. given what is said about, it sounds like a game i can really enjoy. heres hoping for a solid design.

I herd A LOT about this game well not a LOT just a bit, this was the first screen shot I've ever seen of this game thanks. I was thinking it would have some WOW graphics but I don't care it's about the game play that counts not the picture. ( I got a little chessey there ) But this game looks better than animal crossing, and I LOVE animal crossing. So what I think the game is gonna be like harvest moon yeah, but better, with fighting, and havening loyal subjects. And I guess it will have something like xbox where you can download things form the internet. There's no doubt getting this game, sucks it's probably gonna be a long time before it comes out.

I'm pretty sure that the design will be pretty darn solid. Why? Because:

impressive team on the project, im glad the designers are taking the wii seriously enough to accept the projects presented. its lookin like a definite buy for me. i just hope for more games with this much talent put into it.
