I'm actually tempted to download this game... I think I'll get it when the star point > Wii points stuff is implemented before I do so.

No need to spend any dough on it.

It probably will be 1 per customer though, like with the points they accidently put up for 4 hours. (which I was lucky enouh to spot)
Nintendo would lose a hell of a lot of money otherwise...

What's this star point/wii points system you're talking about? Haven't heard of that one before.

In Europe, we have a stars system, where we get at least 250 stars for every Nintendo product (With exceptions; Wii controllers don't come with them). These can be used on the 'stars catalogue', which is basically all a big rewards system. It's rarely updated, and is usually designated to wallpapers. NOE have been promising us for months that we'll get a stars->Wii points system in place soon (Although it probably won't be a 1:1 ratio).

There's a rumour we may get it this week, but I'm not holding my breath to be honest!

This week? We'd be lucky to get some this year!
The NoE site and stars system is badly neglected, they really need to try harder...

Only the UK Stars Catalogue is neglected. Since registry in 2002 I've bought from the Dutch one:

-Mario poster drawn/signed by Miyamoto (2500)
-Super Mario Bros. movie DVD (2500)
-Yoshi's Universal Gravitation (4500)
-Nintendogs: Lab & Friends (6000)
-Mario GC Controller (3500)
-Nintendo DS Limited VIP Pak (1000 + 180 Euros)
-Paper Mario 2 T-shirt + keychain (5000)
-Phoenix Wright thumbstrap (2500)
