Default If you only had 2000 Points...

What would you download?

I just picked up my Wii yesterday (yay!!) and bought 2K points for now. I'm interested in getting some VC games and I have a few in mind that I might buy. First though, I'd thought to ask the masses here and see what you all think.

2,000 Points is the challenge.

What do you suggest?

Starfox 64/ Lylat Wars = 1000
Zelda LttP = 800

That would be an effective use of your points imho

Super Mario World, SNES: 800 points
Dragons Curse, TG-16: 600 points
R-Type, TG-16: 600 points

OR

Zelda: Link to the Past, SNES: 800 points
Bonk 2 - Bonk's Revenge, TG-16: 600 points
R-Type, TG-16: 600 points.

Nice little mix of games there! And you get your 2000 points worth!

What type of games do you like? I mean it's pretty pointless me saying OOT and Lylat for you to then turn around to say "I don't like RPG's and I don't like shooters".

Guess I should have mentioned that. I love pretty much anything. RPG's, shooters, action, arcade, etc. I have an old SNES and N64 with some awesome classic games on it and would love to relive them again.

I've never played StarFox 64 (somehow I missed buying it for my N64) so I'm interested in that. R-type looks interesting too. I've not played any TG16 games at all so that's a whole new world to explore

Bonk is a great TG game. But if you've never played Lylat (SF 64), then I suggest you get it. It's fantastic Starwing is better though IMO.

OOT is another must have, but you mightn't want to N64 games right off the bat.

There's some really good NES games out. Super Mario Bros. is awesome (obviously) and Kirby is really good too IMO.

IMHO these are the top 10 games on the VC.

Zelda OOT (N64).

Zelda ALTTP (SNES).

Super Mario World (SNES).

Super Castlevania IV (SNES).

Super Mario Bros. (NES).

Lylat Wars (N64).

Kirby's Adventure (NES).

Streets Of Rage (MD).

Super Ghouls And Ghosts (SNES).

Golden Axe (MD).
