Wii becomes the console of choice for -zombies- light gun games, House of the Dead becomes the latest title announced by the arcade masters.

"In THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2&3 RETURN, players will be able to play both versions of the game, battling the relentless attack of bloodthirsty zombies with steady aim and a quick trigger finger. Utilising the innovative new Wii Zapper™ or the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, players will experience branching storylines with over six game modes including Arcade Mode and Time Attack modes that will test their shooting skills. THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2&3 RETURN features an engaging single-player campaign, plus a co-op multiplayer mode for up to two players for countless hours of zombie shooting action.

Fantastic. I love light gun games. I love House of the Dead. I'm happy.

What's more interesting is the possibility of the fantastic House of the Dead 4 being released on Wii, it had previously only been announced as a Xbox 360 title, but now we'd be very surprised if it didn't turn up on Wii later in 2008.

I love 4, but my arcade is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too far from where I live at the moment so I can't play it as much as I would liek to. I think the Wii could handle #4 but perhaps tone down some of the HDR

For £35, I'd expect 1 and 4 too.

Maybe good sales of 2+3 will make Sega release 1 and maybe 4...

I might get this. Ive never really played house of the dead. I was always too scared to play it.
But im older now. I think i can take it lol. Plus i do love light gun games. So this oughta be an awesome purchase for it.

I would expect House of the Dead 1 as well, yeah. Maybe it's an unlockable or they decide to add it later.

4's a bit too new though - Was released in 2005 (And rereleased in 2006 with a totally awesome special arcade cabinet that shoots air at you if you get hit), but the graphics are Xbox 360 level, not sure if the Wii could handle it.
