Harvest Moon DS

Soooo, who here has this game?
I spent ages on it when it came out in UK but randomly stopped playing at Year 2 Summer, so I've decided I'm starting again in a minute. It's been so long since I played, I like to start games again if the gap's too big.
I'm a huge fan of Friends of Mineral Town, I got to Year 7 on it. My data wiped itself around about Year 4 twice too.

- What are your opinions on this addition to the Harvest Moon series?
- Was it your first Harvest Moon game? Does it live up to the previous games?
- How far have you gotten? Do you still play it frequently?

I love freind of mineral town this wasn't as good, though It's to hard to get buildings , and then they just get blown down a week later. I'm still in the first winter, I've gotta get through that then I will be able to get back in to the game.

not overly happy so far.

wheres my handy introduction to the town? the mayor cant be arsed to show me round anymore? well that sucks. in fact its annoyed me so much i have to played it for more than a hour.

i think ill give it to my sister for Christmas.

i may have to go and play the snez version again until i feel better.

Just explore around, the town isn't really that big. You can also see around the town and what's happening at that time in the map.
I've gotten really really into it now, which is good

Btw, I never knew there was a SNES game.

Only bad thing I'll say about the DS game is how long it takes to save up for buildings like Chicken Coops. It's unlikely you'll get one in the first month. I'd also rather the buildings placed themselves, it drives me mad trying to find the best place!
(Currently Sping 21, goes back to playing it.)

Doubt it'll be out in the next 6 months here. I could import but I don't like using my parents credit cards atm and I'm not too sure about the look of it. I'll just stick to regular Harvest Moon!
