Activision has announced more songs due to rock your socks off in Guitar Hero 3. In addition to the four previously revealed to fan community ScoreHero, the following songs were also announced:We're pretty interested in seeing which tracks will also be found on Guitar Hero competitor Rock Band, from original GH developer Harmonix -- "Mississippi Queen" was previously shown in one pre-E3 video. The full list of announced tracks are listed after the break.Continue reading Guitar Hero 3 adds 'Paranoid' and six more to roster

Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll Blue Oyster Cult
Nice riffing! Not one of my favourite BOC songs, but at least it's very old (I can't see them so shiny after the 3rd LP), and there are terrific riffs in this song. good!

Raining Blood Slayer
Think I'd prefer any of the other 9 songs, this is a bit short and there are few riffs, but, hell..can't really argue for anything...one of the best LPs ever.

Sabotage Beastie Boys
HEADBANGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course game tracks have to be fun to be played, for example Free Bird is -insert very heavy insult *-, but it's very difficult to be played, it's very long and it is fun.
So, I'm not saying I want music I like, I just hope they're all fun to be played.

* [EDIT]
The very heavy insult may be "ridicolous".

Think of me, I'm doomed!!!!!

I recently acquired a PS2 (mommy doesn't play, she got it with books, or stuff she bought). A friend of mine bought GH2 for my birthday, and the next day I HAD to buy a wireless controller to play properly.

But now? I want the Wii version of GH3, so I'll end up with 2 controllers....and the wireless I bought was very expensive...

When I'm gonna buy another REAL guitar? I want a single-coils Les Paul! Or a Telecaster.....or a Rickenbaker....or should I finally start having one handcrafted specifically for me? (my father just got HIS 4000€ Classic one)

It could be worse neuzd - my friend with the 360 has just been lamenting the fact that there are no wireless controllers available - and that you have to buy another copy of the game to have two controllers! That's outrageous!

All three of the guitars you're looking at are obviously cool but my favourite has always been the Telecaster...a more flexible sound than the other two...for individual sound there's no mistaking a Rickenbacker, is there?

Sure you'll work it out soon!

Mine was really a pointless ranting (where I was talking of guitars).

I already have 2 classic icons which toghether provide me the largest range of sounds I could need.
They're a Strato and an SG.

Anyway I'm a single-coil man, so I'm always dreaming of a Telecaster, but can any electric guitarist (no, I will never call us "electric-guitar players") live without owning the most sexy object a man ever crafted?

Man, the Les Paul is just gorgeous! And we all know it's not just the shape or the carved top that makes it so damn cool, there aren't many guitars with a body built that way!!!!
Last year I was to buying a Custom Shop Les Paul '56 Goldtop (built nowadays, of course), which has 2 P90. I succeeded in not buying it, and the frenzyness passed.
Gibson guitars are way to expensive anyway!!

Back a bit on topic. Controllers for GH.
I just love them all!!!!!!!!!!
The SG of course is an icon.
The Explorer is fantastic because you can't tell which one is the toy, if the GH controller or the real one!
The wirelss one I got looks like Rickenbacker 300 series, I don't know a Gibson like that, but it is alsmost surely designed after a Gibson guitar.
And the next is a Les Paul: I guess it won't feature a figured carved top (not talking of materials....), but it looks nice anyway, and the Wii version has an analog controller exactly where the Les Paul has the pickup selector! TOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOL.

And surfing the net to find a photo of my controller I discovered there was another Wirelss Controller, probably marketed while GH1 was on the shelves.
It's shaped like a Flying V..well another myth! I'd like one of those....I should ask my cousin what happened at his.
