Default (german version) ?

so i changed my country settings because im going to end up anyways soon in germany (and because my country doesnt really allow connecting a club nintendo account with a wii).
now i suddenly see a bunch of Virtual console games with (german version) in the name.
Is it translated to german? do they have anything less? are all games german versions or only the ones with (german version) in the title? can i somehow download the english one even with the country setting set to germany?

theres probably more question but i cant think of them right now

Only a few games are in German.
For example TLoZ:OoT, Kirby's Adventure and Super Mario 64.

You don't have to change the country settings on your wii. Even if you're going to Germany you'll be okay leaving as wherever.

Forces or forces kid?

no, thing is i used to have it set to Portugal, and the things i bought till now wouldnt show up as bought on the club nintendo homepage. And it seems that you will later on get stars for the VC games you bought (and star points can be traded for wii points later on)

Now i noticed that if i set it either to the UK or germany or any other club nintendo country it adds the virtual console games to my club nintendo account.

so i guess ill leave it at UK

Yeah, I'd be careful about this. Games back in the day were often translated for the German, Spanish and French markets, so it is indeed possible that you might find yourself downloading versions of games that have different-language text than what you'd like. We used to visit friends in Hamburg every year when I was a kid, and it was more than once that I bought SNES games with German text.

In the European Virtual Console some, but not all, games are available in the languages they were originally published in. Some games are multilingual (as they were in their original form, such as Super Mario 64), others are available in multiple versions (for example, The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past). The Wii's country setting decides which version will be available for download. If a user wants to download more than one version, he is charged once per version - that is, the French version of The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past is considered a different game from the English version.

Some games are not available in launguages which they were originally published. An example for a game not available in all of its original language choices is Kirby's Adventure. The NES game was published in a fully localized version in Germany, but only the English version has been made available for users connecting to the Wii Shop Channel, with a German country setting, at the time of the game's Virtual Console release.
