| Do you like my helmet? | Castle Crashers (PSN) - Playing single-player (the only way to play the game) as the Blue Knight. I think I'm level 10 now. Pretty fun stuff. I look forward to when they add online functionality so I can play and beat the game with my brother. WWE Legends of Wrestlemania (PS3) - I created a new wrestler and then took him through the Legend Killer game mode. I cleared every tier (which translates to 78 wins) and maxed his stats. I also won a 30-man royal rumble. Now I just have to go through 18 or 19 classic Wrestlemania matches to complete the game. |

| Jumping Piranha Plant | Peggle (iPod) - Finally completed this game. Been working on it for a little bit every other day or so and finally got all the 100% medals. Now I have nothing to play on my classic iPod other than Pac-Man and a so-so port of Bomerman. Singularity (PS3) - Two collectibles and a hidden metroid keep me from my 100%. All are kept within this giant boat which I just made it back to today. Will finish this one shortly Red Faction Guerilla (PS3) - Well I just completed the story mode with so much more yet to do in the game. Going to play online a bunch because it's fun, unique, and people actually still play it! |

| Majora's Mask I started last night with the intention of 'quickly' rattling through Snowhead Temple. It took hours. I still need to go back to collect all the fairies so I can have enough magic to try and blitz the Goron racetrack. After many, many failed attempts at racing I went back to the first day to get some interesting sidequests done. Now I have a few more heart pieces and some more masks. The Romani ranch sequence was…odd and I felt bad about ??? using a land deed for toilet paper! I started the big sidequest but can't finish it yet without a few more items and areas unlocked but it was good to get a feel for the timings involved. The plan is now to gain another heart piece from a mini-game and then tackle the Pirate Hideout. Then I can either go to the next temple or spend more time on sidequests in the Spider House or explore the newly available Ikana area. |

| I'm getting close to making BUFFERS EVOLUTION my first Wonderswan Beat and possible Complete. I've now unlocked all the stages and collected all the transformable abilities so I now just need to find the hidden energy pods in five more stages to get the ultimate suit and presumably beat the game. Helpfully, a Demo mode seems to have unlocked after gaining all the transformable abilities that shows the computer perfecting any stage you fail to 100%. Should make collecting the last few pods a breeze. This was a surprisingly excellent game that I picked up for only 100 Yen while in Japan. It turned out to be nothing like what I was expecting (a generic platoformer). I'd love to see a DS remake in colour and utilising the touchscreen to transform and check the map.

New progress: After Burner Climax (PSN) - I beat the game on Score Attack to log a score, then I beat the game with each jet. I've unlocked 18/35 EX options and I've earned 10/12 trophies. I just have to get a AAA rank at the end of Arcade mode and I have to see the A ending (somehow...) to complete it. VVVVVV (Mac) - Been playing on and off. I've collected 8 trinkets in just under an hour, with probably about 200 deaths.

| Finally managed to finish the Anju and Kafei sidequest after screwing up the block puzzle first time round. That whole quest seems to sum up why I prefer this game to OoT. The characters seem like so much more than cardboard cutouts sending you on arbitrary fetch quests. It was a really bittersweet moment made all the more poignant by returning to the first day to see it all undone as Kafei scampers to the post box to start the sequence again. I will have to do it again to get the postman's hat. For some reason I can't get the postman to take the letter! After all that I thought it would be a good time to finish the swamp spider house. I managed to find 29 of them but just couldn't locate the last one. I revisted every room (many, many times...) listening for that tell tale 'sktch sktch sktch' sound but found nothing. I'm going to start again from scratch to see if I have better luck. |

I would like to help you but I just won't take bits away from your experience. Find the last skulltulla yourself. The only hint I give you is: Finish the skulltulla lairs on the first day, and someone is coming to the entry hall of the skulltulla house the next day and you get a special item from that guy. This trick works in both skulltulla lairs. I just hope the game doesn't freeze at the end of the last dungeon (the stone temple dungeon) It happened to me and it was a little disappointing. However, the stone temple dungeon is just epic.

| Majora's Mask Hmm…wasn't expecting that of the Great Bay Temple. Different setting to what I expected in a Zelda game and the music is unsettling. My first thought when I saw all the pipes and switches was "yay another Water Temple". I shouldn't do these things so late at night. I managed to make some progress in there but hit a 'what now' moment after tripping the red switch by the mini-boss. True to form I took that opportunity to escape the temple and explore Ikana grabbing a new mask (a touching reunion!) and performing strange fetch requests for gibdos. Got a shiny new shield for my troubles though. More exploring is needed for the temple but I find the sidequests more absorbing even when they aren't actually sidequests but me doing things out of the proper order. Time for a trip to the Great Bay Spider House! I'm going to have to re-do the Snowhead Temple so I can get the fairies too. |

| Lemmy Koopa | That may have been my favorite moment in the game. the Atmosphere blends with the music so well that the sceen ends up being unforgetable. Metroid: Other M The game's getting quite good. The one thing you've got to love about this game is the boss fights, they're so much fun! I managed to defeat Ridley only to have the game freeze and a Disc Read Error popped up. I tried playing the game a few times after that but the Error screen pops up automatically. I'm hoping it's a problem with my Wii and not Other M because Nintendo will fix my Wii for free, but I can't just get a new copy of Other M. Halo: Reach Fun, yet dull. My friend enjoys the series quite a bit, I myself never got into it. I do like the Halo story I'm just not a huge fan of the gameplay, it gets rather tiresome after a while. The music is greatt, cut sceens are nice and the story is cool but I can't see myself playing single player campaign. Multiplayer is fine, mainly because you get the stupid laughs when you mess up, but again, the gameplay gets Boring fast. The online seems interesting with the ew perks and such, but I don't own a 360 anyways so what do I care. I'd give it a 7.8/10

| Valkyria Chronicles Yeah, just recently beat this, and it's easily one of my favorite games of this current generation. The gameplay is quite unique, and should appeal to everyone, really, even people who don't games like Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics. Heck, it should appeal to those people too, so...win, win, win! I really enjoyed the story too, and it has a likeable cast of characters, even the shmucks who aren't part of the main story. This game is suprisingly full featured for what is essentially a very unique take on the SRPG, with a lot of extras and 4 DLC packs (for $5 each; haven't gotten a chance to try them out, but I hear good things about them). It goes without say that this is one of the most beautiful games out there, running on the CANVAS engine, looking akin to a watercoler painting; fantastic art direction too. I definetely recommend PS3 owners to pick it up and try it out, seeing as how its one of the most unique games out there and also, quite affordable. I picked my copy up for $20 at GameStop, and it's still $20 there and $30 on Amazon. With a sequel on the PSP and another being planned for the PSP, I'd say now's the time to see if Valkyria Chronicles is your thing. Super Smash Bros. Brawl Ever since a friend of mine brought his GameCube to school and me and a bunch of other people have been playing Melee during lunch, I've had newfound interest in the Super Smash Bros. series. Since I don't own Melee, though, I've had to make do with Brawl. Nothing against this game though, because Brawl is fantastic. I'm going through and getting all of the extras, although beating all of the characters in Classic Mode is kinda a pain in the ass. I'm also getting some practice in as Marth, who is officially my main now, considering he's a good character in Melee and in Brawl (I never played as Sheik or Falco, but apparently they got meganerfed). Sadly it doesn't work like the GBC in recolourising old Wonderswan titles. They just display in monochrome black and white. Another thing worth noting is that despite playing it almost every day since I got back from Japan it's still running on the same singe pencil battery. Nice batttery life!

| Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 ~ Wii Current Status ![]() Started on September 6th, 2010. Beaten on September 14th, 2010. Completed on Rating 8/10 ~Update #1~ I've been playing this game for almost 2 weeks now and it's pretty great. I've completed Dragon Adventure Lv. 1 (story mode) 100% and cleared Dragon Tournament on all difficulties (Novice, Adept, Advanced and Master). The Z-Item List is for 90% complete, because I still need to fuse a few Items to form new ones. Most of them are only obtainable by summoning Porunga/Shenron in Dragon Adventure, but it's quite a pain to find those 7 Dragon Balls every time. I also finished Ultimate Battle Z (the 3rd and final mode) on Lv. 1. I only need to beat them on Lv. 2 and Lv. 3 (same goes for Dragon Adventure) for completion, but I doubt that I would get any valuable Z-Items. I didn't have any trouble progressing in this game, it's rather easy. Especially when you are using Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta with the right Z-Items equiped, because he's definitely an overpowered character. Favourite character: Frieza, Piccolo, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks (only tried 1/4 of all the characters, though). Favourite course: Namek Favourite Saga [Dragon Adventure]: Frieza Saga, Beautiful Treachery (Zarbon's "What If" scenario). Got an S-Rank on all tracks now and the only thing left to do is playing Wifi matches to unlock the remaining bikes. | Majora's Mask Stone Temple! Managed to get fairly close to the end after a long slog. I was very cool seeing the moon beneath my feet. I have a locked door now and am not sure where the key is. I thought I''d explored the wrong way temple but I must be missing something. I've extinguished a fire in the middle room with the light pillars and tripped the switch near there and another near the Death Armos(?) but..nothing. I hate Wizrobe battles and the mini-boss was surprisingly lethal. I may well need to go on a fairy hunt at the Great Bay temple afterwards (I'm too far to start over now) before the final part of the game. Last edited by Yossarian; 7th October 2010 at 11:04 AM. |

| What a fool I have been. The answer was fairly obvious and could have been found by looking at the map of the poe room! Key found (thanks stone mask!) and boss beaten. Fun battle but surprisingly easy for a final dungeon. Things to do before final sequence:
It's been a great game and I'm glad I'm close to the end so I can turn my attention to my other unfinished games like Metroid Prime 3 and Paper Mario (…and Sands of Time, Geist, Super Mario Sunshine, Viewtiful Joe…). |

| Lemmy Koopa | Dead Rising 2 (PS3) Done! It was a pretty tough one, I had to restart twice! It made the game alot easier in the end since I was at my maximum level but it was still no cake walk! I can only imagine the difficulty of beating the game at level 30 or so. The story was good, not sure if it beat the first one though. It definetly climaxed at the end but the middle was full of nothingness. Solid game overall.

| 79% done. Platforming sequences are fantastic and elegant but the combat is dull and annoying. Context sensitive 'block' command is friend to no-one and fighting wave after wave of the bar stewards spoils the flow. I love the growing relationship between the Prince and Farrah. It's fun hearing the Prince complain aloud about something before shouting "why am I talking to myself?". The exchanges between them are cute and I laughed at Farrah's response to the Prince after the nth time of asking her to find a switch or the game joke in the library. |

| Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Finally beaten. It was a great story and playing it again straight away made me appreciate it all the more. It was nice of them to give me a one hit kill weapon at the end as it helped alleviate the frustration of wave after wave of annoying battles. Has anyone played the sequels? I've heard mixed things about them. Rune Factory Frontier 2 The DS version is better suited to quickplay but I miss the large dungeons of the Wii version. There is only a small part of the map that my adult character can visit and I'm getting impatient with the lack of requests. The romance/friendship is going well for most of the female characters but I'll have to wait until Winter before I can move the game along and get to the dungeons and skills part. Secret of Mana As far as the witch's castle and freed the soldiers. Taken a detour back to town to recover my team from the werewolf attacks. Is it a paralysis attack or a glitch that means that being hit against a wall prevents any movement or access to the menus? If I'm lucky it may let me dash out of the way but a team of werewolves blocking me against a wall meant many, many deaths. The AI of the team is quite annoying. Even changing the setting to the meekest of the meek they'll sometimes suicidally attack something that I've just run past to avoid. Chick Chick BOOM! Really enjoying this even in single player. Managed to improve my score on the Pro setting and unlock some new outfits (turbans!). |

| Lemmy Koopa | Woo bringing the thread back! LOZ: OOT 3D Really loving this remake, every single detail of the game was remastered and made better as far as I can see and they've added so many new little things it's just fun to enter a new area and simply see what they've added to it. Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (DS) Easily the best in the series so far, same cleaver puzzles are back along witha great story. I'm actually really loving the story in this game and just wanna skip all the puzzles and see what happens already Okamiden (DS) Being a huge Okami fan I couldn't resist this one. Although it's fun to be in the exact same world as the last game, you really can't help but feel like this game is just living off th success of the last game. It's still a lot of fun but really it's like Okami 1.5 Same moves, same world, same idea, but still good. 9 hours in and I'm looking for Kuni right now and I just got the vine technique where you can latch onto flowers and stuff. I would have prefered they threw this one on the 3DS though, I love how you can use the stylus to paint but it would be a lot better on the 3DS. Graphics could be sharper, game could be longer, and honestly there's been so many times where I almost felt like the game really was in 3D!

| Single Player At the moment I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles, Hydroventure, Endless Ocean 2 and Deadly Creatures on the Wii... and on the DS I finally got into Starfox Command which I didn't like much at first. Haven't played anything the last few days though because it was just too hot to play games. I put equal time into Xeno and Hydro because they are my newest games and they're both great. They complement each other because Xeno seriously lacks puzzles. In Xeno I'm Level 20 now and at Colony 6, and in Hydro I have 52 rainbow drops and unlocked the fourth chapter. Since I beat Endless Ocean 2 a few weeks ago, I was just occasionally training my dolphins (needed to unlock the last part of the map) and finishing off some sidequests. About 80 hours in. I'm not finished with this yet. I don't believe I have the time to complete it (some achievements are crazy), but I think I will at least do all of the more interesting stuff. Deadly Creatures got better as I moved on and is a cool experience, but it's on hold atm. It's straightforward, linear and simple so I can always come back to it and beat a few stages. Multi Player Recently me and my friends got into Mario Kart Wii all over again, so that's the new old multiplayer favourite at the moment. The family is totally into Wii Play Motion. |

Silent Hill 4 (XBOX) Fantastic little horror game, by far me and my buddys favorite game in the series. We ended up beating it at about 5 in the morning today and got the second worst ending, won't spoil it but we messed up bad by miss treating one of our companions making the final boss too difficult to defeat quickly

Deadly Creatures is not an amazing game, but it has the kind of atmosphere that I really dig: being a small creature in an oversized world - like in Chibi-Robo, Mushroom Men or Pikmin, though the art is not as colorful and comical as these. Deserts with cacti, dark pits and tunnels, undergrowth and spiky woods, bugs, grasshoppers, creepy spiders, rattlesnakes and stuff is trying to be ultra-realistic for the most part. Silent Hill 4? Is that The Room? That's a twisted paranoid game! My progress: Curiously, I stopped playing Xenoblade and Hydroventure five days ago, because I got absorbed by Endless Ocean 2 again. Helluvaddicting! On the DS I'm making steady progress on Starfox Command (it's the only Starfox game I haven't beaten yet). Took me a couple of years to give this a proper chance as I didn't like it / abandoned it after the first couple of tries (fails). But now I really got into this one. It's much better now that I understand how it works, glad I've given it a second chance.

| Do you like my helmet? | I've been maining Deus Ex: Human Revolution on console and Dragon Quest VI on portable. In DE:HR, I'm doing some missions. It's tough to track progress in this game. I'm on the third (I think?) story mission in China, after having just cleared 3-4 side-quests here. Doing fine. Very fun but sometimes tough game. I'm playing a stealth/hacker/pacifist build. My hard mode run will definitely be a brute warrior murderer. |
