| Do you like my helmet? | I've seen a few Backloggery signatures around the forum, so I thought I'd sign up and track my gaming a bit. Who else uses this? I wanna add friends. My user name on the service is KongWen (obv.—look at my sig). Here is a list of Backloggery users from the forum (compiled by pdRydia—thanks!), sorted by their Backloggery names, with forum names in brackets afterwards if they're different: afrancio [VCF username: Tony] Betagam7 Bonesaw CastlevaniaTest Cefnu CheezMan [VCF username: Mr.Cheez] Diebythesword Digiki flaminskull hansolo350 Iggy JellySoup [VCF username: Blue Chu Jelly] KongWen [VCF username: Jogurt the Yogurt] KeeperBVK KingElemento Kuribo LinkFanatic lordbowser Mama_Luigi Marktheshark maxplastic mechanix pdrydia PoisonRamune SAB Shadesofgray Shadx Shortay slangman slayerking45 Spore Stratos tantrumario theUndead_feature Tijuana Wiiman192 Yasume y0ss4ri4n [VCF username: Yossarian] ZiggyPop [VCF username: Kanti3000] Last edited by Jogurt the Yogurt; 8th February 2009 at 08:38 PM. |

| I have one, but I've barely started putting anything on my list. My name there is hansolo350 aswell. How do you guys get that chart into your sigs? |
| | |

| Do you like my helmet? | Go to MyBackloggery | Options and there will be some code for you to paste into your sig. EDIT: When I saw your 8 Master Crystals I thought you were one of those guys who claims master status for BS, but then I looked at the list and your accomplishments sound pretty impressive! |

| Do you like my helmet? | Just use it for stuff you currently own, if that'll make it easier. Then you can gradually add more stuff later. |

| Do you like my helmet? | Those are your "now playing" games. It automatically slaps the three most recently updated Now Playing games to put in the signature. |

| It's kinda hard listing all my master runs without sounding arrogant!

But I guess master runs mean different things to different people. For me to give myself master status on a game, I have to do something outside the regular scope of the game—not just being awesome at it (that's evident with everything I do That said, most of your master runs far more representative of legitimate game mastery than most people's master runs on that site. EDIT: I don't mean to come off as being critical of you in particular. You just gave me an excuse to talk about the dynamic of the site in general (and give this thread an interesting turn of discussion). | |

| Yes exactly, I am already changing the statuses of many games to "completed". but some games can be hard to be defined as "mastered" in my opinion Mastered should be; in addition to doing something out of the scope. 1. Never die or at least never continue such as P.O.W. and Goonies II. I've been proud of those since I've been in Elementary school... 2. Speed runs (I have several) but what constitutes a speed run if its a long game such as ALTTP? I remember beating it in one sitting when I was a kid going through the entire game getting all items and heart containers and beating Ganon by the end of the day. maybe My perspective on the difficulty level are different because I DID IT BEFORE THE INTERNET EXISTED! nowadays with gamefaqs you can basically beat any game in a single day... its too easy now... 3. I am not sure if I should do this but I graded myself on a curve since I achieved most of those when I was a kid. I was in a Video Game club at my deaf school and I was the best there. that was the only comparision I had back in the day. (I can see youre about 3 or 4 years younger so I'm sure you feel the same Jogurt) so I'm making changes... 4. For sports games such as Madden, If nobody have beaten me at that game in competitions that was hosted at my school, should that be considered "mastered"?(I went 3 years without losing! I would **** people off by running out the clock because everybody played so fasttttt), how about winning the super bowl with the worst team?

| Do you like my helmet? | Actually, your single-day LttP and Mario World completion were among your most impressive master runs. Also, your Mutant League Football master run is hilarious! I didn't intend to make your change your master statuses. |

| Yeah I loved to do that over and over again, killing every player on every team, I'd suggest that as a good stress reliever for anybody that have a MD/Genesis... I am in the process of whittling down my less than impressive master runs so dont worry Jogurt, I am trying to standardize myself with everybody else. EDIT: I've reduced it to 41 mastered games now, I took the status off games that I am just simply very good at or those that would be too hard to verify such as those days I had nobody watching. BTW Jogurt, was there a goalie in front of the net for your 100 goal game? length of period? also is there any games youre skeptical of my master status? (I'm taking Journalism classes this semester and watching my grammar and punctuation!)

| Do you like my helmet? | I just designed the most buttocks-kickin' banner image for my backloggery page. It took a little bit of photoshopping, but it fits my theme and I'm happy with it. (I lurves me some FFT.) |
