They could add a digital tip jar!

Actually, I sent a message to the site staff asking about such, and received a message back saying that a donation link will be included in the site redesign. Sounds good to me. Hope they don't have any issues with account freezing and such.

When is the site redesign coming?

Edit: Looks like he's going to continue work on it, in one month after his arm heals.

Just thought I'd mention that I've started a Super Robot Taisen marathon and I'll have a new theme up this weekend. Anybody can join in if they want.

I know I've sort of asked this question before but...

...How do you what 100% everything is and all collectibles if you don't know what they are. (I'm trying to work out when I can say I've Completed LoZ:PH (I know i need 100% story mode and All heart containers and finish the side quests (fishing one, letter one and the trading Sequence/telescopebut is there anything else?))

If you think that you have completed a game 100%, but are not entirely sure about it, I suggest taking a visit to GameFaqs. You can find anything you want to know there, or you can ask around in the Message Boards.

Does it have an in-game % counter? If not, then I'd say beating the game, getting all heart containers, getting all items, completing all side-quests, seeing all endings, beating all mini-games, etc. is completion.

I'm in the middle of a totally sweet update to my Backloggery.

This is a super-update, so it's not just my theme, but also the way in which I record information about each game's progress and completion status. Since I have a large collection, it's taking a long time to complete... but I'll get there. I'm going down my system list in order from top to bottom, and I'm down to part-way through my GCN collection right now.

^ Was wondering what the heck happened to your page...I thought the worst. Just like to add, thanks to a message I saw via a friends page I realized I left off a game from my collection. Sorcerer's Kingdom.

The backloggery staff should do a minor update of their own for all the members -- like the B, C, M icons on the progress line.

I'm doing an RPG Fest by console(Current Gen+PS2 & GBA) on my BL, and I'm having trouble deciding what I should pick as my DS and PSP/PSN games. Since the Fortune Cookie's being a jerk, I figured I'd just do a Wild card of the 3 most desirable games in my collection for each and have everyone vote on what game I'll pick. I have a feeling the turn out will be pretty bad, but still:

DS Game: KH 358/2 Days, Disgaea DS, or SMT: Strange Journey?

PSP/PSN: Star Ocean: First Departure, Final Fantasy 7, or Grandia?

Well, it looks like Kingdom Hearts and Grandia won the day. Good news for Disgaea fans, though: I just remembered Holloween's coming up, so I'll be running a Creepfest at the same time, consisting of Castlevania, Resident Evil, and now Disgaea. Thank you all for your contributions.

Funny how now that Backloggery is closed for registration, everyone is asking me on how they can register.

Looks like the Backloggery remake is at 95% completion. Drumble says it should be up by New Year's.

I've a new theme and a new challenge involving some concentrated randomised gaming for the new year.

I got the cookie to pick ten games randomly from my two biggest backlogs and will be focussing on them through January to see whether this helps increase my beats.

I ended up with quite a nice mix.

The Backloggery - TidesofChaos's Backloggery

Since all the cool kids are showing off their new or semi-new Backloggery's, I might as well join in. This is a Scott Pilgrim theme based off of the 4th volume's cover. It also goes incredibly well with my new method of buying and playing games for the year, as you can read about in detail on my Backlog's right side info thingy.

I have beaten everything but the true arena on kirby super star ultra do you think i should mark it as beaten? because beating the true arena would then make it complete wouldn't it?

Finally advertising the T-shirts properly. Other than that all I notice is graphical changes...no more pics of systems? Why?

Most of the changes are under the hood.

After you complained about it here, I actually filled out a "contact us" suggestion form recommending that they include a link to the guy's profile who was in charge of shirts, which they promptly did. For the last few months, the "buy our shirts" thing in the ad box linked directly to asking the guy about getting a shirt, exactly as it does now.

Hey there people. I just registered here to ask one question.

Since I'm a hardcore gaming fan (I started my gaming journey when I was 6 years old-I'm gonna be 25 now in june) and as you can guess I played a lot of games. I mean A LOT. I own or had owned every console that came out since the NES era and I had like an excell list of games that I played, finished and what I wanted to play. I recently stumbled across backloggery and wanted to share all the games that I played. It would be also a nice idea to keep track of games that I didn't finish, compare it with others and maybe get some idea of what else to play from others.

So let's not waste time. When or where could I register for an account? Or if anyone has an account, if you could spare one for me I'd really appreciate it. I keep going back to backloggery like every week only to find the registration still closed. I'd be happy even with an estimation of when the registration will reopen, because I'd really love to keep track. Just as I do with animes on anidb.

Thanks for any of the help.

Backloggery's registration is currently down until the creator feels he has cleaned up most bugs, browser issues are fixed, and believes the website can take more users. It's been down for quite some time but I believe it is almost ready for new users. For more information on when registration will be open and other changes to Backloggery you can check out his "Changelog" blog at Changeloggery.

Also, if you are a huge fan of gaming this is a great site to talk about your favorite games with others who also have a love of this hobby, you may want to think about sticking around. We have a great community here!

Yeah! There are a lot of Backloggery members here, and we often have lively discussions about each of the major platforms (but especially about retro games). And there's no forum at Backloggery, so this is a great place to chat and ask questions or get ideas about the next new old game to play.

They just added a search bar, like just now, so you can search through your collection for games containing the word "dragon" for example, or enter a letter and show all games starting with that letter. It's an amazingly useful tool considering long lists are now broken up by "show more" buttons.

You can search other people's collections in the same way.

I'm waiting for them to re-implement that "click on a game title and see everyone else that owns the game" function like they had 2 years ago. That would really help getting MHT and Goldeneye stuff going (along with other onliney games).
