 |  Hi all, I am flyingdutchman and I just bought my Wii 2 weeks ago and I must say I am very pleased with nintendo's console. The VC has been one of my favorite things about the Wii and I have just started downloading games for it. I also own a 360 and so far my favorite game for the 360 has probaly got to be The Darkness or All pro football 2k8.

| Why hello...I'm Meepo... my name is based off a comic charecter i made (HAha lame) I have Had a wii since christmas. My favorite game for the wii (so far) would be excite truck. I am curently playing mario strikers charged. Oh and im not a fan boy...nintendo is just my favorite...my brother has a xbox..i play it....(sometimes)

|  Hello everyone, im rick *wave* i've been gaming my whole life. started in the mid 80s with the atari, then graduated to NES. I was the target of a Nintendo media blitz, playing mario games, watching mario on TV, eating Mario/Zelda cereal. playing with mario toys ect. Those were good times. In the later years i got a SNES, then a PS1, PS2 and GC (Wii and PS3). got all the portables also only kept the DS. im looking forward to reliving the golden era of gaming (16 bit). Never had any emulators.. Born and raised in Florida, and will probably die here,.. or Narnia. |

| Hi I'm starlac (RL name Carl). I'm 26, been playing videogames since the mid-Eighties, starting with the Sinclair Spectrum and so on. I have a Master System, Mega Drive, Nintendo64, Playstation2, Game Cube, Game Boy Advance, a DS and a Wii. I defected to the Nintendo64 after sampling the delights of Super Mario World and Starwing on a friend's SNES. Since I own quite a few MegaDrive games, I've been mostly interested in the other formats on virtual console. Outside of videogaming, I'm currently help run Keyframe, an animation site, adding profiles and managing the forums, etc. I'm also working on a personal site which I will be discussing animation that I've watch and games that I've played. |

| Congrats, there's 500 members now  (Do I win a price? :P)Anyway, I'm Joachim. Turned 18 yesterday :P and I'm from Holland I haven't really been active on a forum since SCU died, but I've been checking this place out quite some time and decided I should just join. I'm not as much into the VC as some of you guys, but I have downloaded a few (11 at this moment). Hmm, favourite game ever is Metroid Prime. I'm quite the Metroid fan. Got all the games except for MP3 (seriously we need a Freeloader asap). I play all sorts of games, but I love adventure games the most. If you want to see which games I own (or owned at some point. Had to sell my SNES games to buy a N64 and had to sell my N64 games to buy a 'Cube) you should click here. Favourite movie is The Matrix. You won't believe how many times I've watched it. Got the Ultimate Collection too. I watch all kinds of movies actually, but my favourite genres are probably Sci-fi and Thriller. Now onto music. I really love Children of Bodom. They're definitely my favourite band. The first three albums are amazing (especially the second one). The fourth is good too, but the last isn't really all that great. It's still ok I guess, but the old Bodom is just so much better  . I mainly listen to power- and melodic death metal. I also like to listen to Electronica (mainly trance, techno and dnb.) and soundtracks. I like most kinds of instrumental music as well. Oh, I started playing guitar myself this summer, but I suck so yeah...And that's about it I guess... can't really think of anything else to say |

| Casual gamer since 1978  | Welcome to the VC-Forums Socketzero. I also had a shock when samus.co.uk died this spring. It was already a long time since the latest update but it was a great resource site about our favourite Hunter. Do you know metroid2002.com? That's where I go now for metroid speedrunning, but on SCU there were other things that I really miss now. Hopefully I have some of their files saved...somewhere... I'm playing the guitar since some times (guess I started in '87) and I seem to be a bit more extreme than you ('melodic' and 'death' are two values that my bitwise brain can't assign to the same element), anyway my best wishes with your studying! If you want a good advice about electric guitaring: buy another distortion pedal. Already got? Read again, I said another. Have fun! (:=X

| Hello. Long time gamer here. Have owned all major Nintendo systems. For me, I bought the Wii specifically for the VC. I sold my collection of games and hardware on Ebay and made about 800 dollars. The idea was, if the VC works as I hope, I will eventually replace almost all the games but without the clutter. |
