| Hi. I'm antster1983, but you can call me Ant I'm 24 and come from the North West of England. Have been a Nintendo fan since I was 10 when I first got a SNES and haven't looked back since. I have also previously owned a ZX Spectrum, Game Boy, Dreamcast and GameCube. I now own a Wii (of course), a Nintendo DS and an Xbox. And I still have my white GBA lurking somewhere... Apart from games I also like football. I'm a Wigan Athletic fan and thank Christ we're still a Premiership team! I do work for a living. I work for Wigan Council as an Accessible Communication Development Worker. Basically that means I create symbols and documents for adults with learning disabilities who cannot understand the written word or have trouble with the spoken word. The documents we create we hope will enable people to take more control of their own lives and make choices that suit them. I do that three days a week, but I'm looking to do an extra day. Hey it's public services, and it's a good wage, and I enjoy my work. I also like a lot of music, especially prog rock and power ballads. Now there's a mix you don't see every day! My favourite band are Genesis and I'm going watching them in Manchester in July Anyways, it's great to be here! |

| Lemmy Koopa | My name is Wendel im 12. My vc-reviews name is mario/zelda_fan, I tried to have that name but i screwed up and said im under 13. So then i had to print out this thing and have my parents sign it and send it somewhere. But I didn't want to do that so i signed up again but this user name was already taken (from myself) so i tried a different name, but the e-mail was already taken. so then i had to make a whole new msn witch took me 3 days, then finally i signed up. My user name is the shomemaker because that's my last name. So ANYWAY I love video games I've been playing since i was three. My first game i ever played was super Mario world. Since then I've been an Nintendo fan. I first had snes, then n64 then gameboy, then gamecube, then gba, then DS and now Wii. As you can see I only get Nintendo stuff. Right now I only have a DS and a Wii. I have an average of 95%. I know sound like a big nerd but I'm not, I have lots a friends, and surprisenly we barely ever talk about video games. I'm half native, and 115 pounds. I'm into the style "skater" so I got long brown hair. Oh yeah I'm a guy. I have a big family I live in Winnipeg (Manitoba's capital) Oh yeah a I have 3 sisters and one brother, and my parents don't live together. So now you know about me. Oh and Wii beats every console out there.

| Hey, I'm Zach, and I've had my Wii since Christmas (bought it off eBay) but I just got it connected to the Virtual Console a month ago. I've used the reviews on the Virtual Console Archive to help me buy games I wasn't familiar with, such as Streets of Rage 2, Soldier Blade, and The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, which I probably wouldn't have looked at twice if it weren't for their 5-star ratings. I'm thinking about getting Ninja Gaiden too. I'm a glutton for impossible video games. |

| Hello, I'm new around here. Started gaming in 1982 with a Commodore 64. My first games were Hunchback, Panic 64, Siren City... really old stuff. Meanwhile I got into the NES with Donkey Kong, Ice Climber and Mario Bros, which my aunt bought. My first Nintendo console was the SNES with Super Mario World, F-Zero and Super Soccer plus a Game Boy with Tetris and Super Mario Land. Since then, I bought and played through everything that was originally made by Nintendo. I also got my hands around every other console, but I stick with my Wii for now as I think it's the best. |

Blog Entries: 9 | Since I've already posted quite a bit today already, I might as well introduce myself. Hi, I'm Paul, twenty-five year old college student (who isn't so sure about college anymore), and I've been gaming ever since kindergarten, although I didn't have a console until some years later; yet I have played on NES, SNES, Genesis, and the like at friends' places during that time. My parents thought that one family computer for gaming was quite enough. Yeah, right. Started off with a used and modded Commodore64 (turboload, baby!), matured to an Amiga 600 close to Middle School, and we got our first PC in '94, an okay Pentium 60. I do play some games on my aging Mac today, but I'm slowly but surely giving up on computer gaming. It's just too expensive and too bothersome to keep up with. Casual games are fine, but even those are starting to increase the requirements. =/ That's why I love consoles: the whole plug and play ability, not having to fret about some stupid driver issue or that my computer is still up to snuff, etc. My first console was a Sega Dreamcast not long before its official demise. It was a shame. Not surprisingly, I wasn't very fond of Sony since then, although I have considered its consoles, at one point or another. Loved my Gamecube and feel a bit stupid nowadays having sold it a few years back. Had a pretty nice game collection for it, too. Oh well. I did have an Xbox for a bit, but I didn't play it enough and eventually sold that one, too. I got my Wii a bit over a month ago and I'm loving it. Nice little machine. Had a lot of fun so far with Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, and Resident Evil 4. Aside from that, I've picked up some used Gamecube titles on which I've missed out on, a la Metroid Prime 2, Fire Emblem (so much better than the GBA titles), Battalion Wars, and some others. I've also started to enjoy some of these golden oldies, thanks to the VC. I have never really played Super Mario 64 and Starfox 64 until now. Great fun. Came across the VC archives about two months ago when I was looking at what consoles to get. Came back about a week ago when I finally was able to resolve that issue we had with our wireless network. I've been quite happy being able to connect my Wii to the net. Not to mention, it made me look forward to a few titles I wouldn't have cared about if I still hadn't had the online capability. Anywho, enough babbling. Man, I write too much. =/

| Hello Pegasus, knew it was you! Anyways about me: Hello my name is Terrance, 14 years old, and my first console was a NES (not suprising). Although currently do not have a Wii, I have a DS, and look forward to getting a Wii before the end of the year. As of right now, I have a NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, Atari 2600, DS, GBA SP, GBA, GameCube, (broken)PS2, and anything else I seem to be forgetting at this moment. |

| First of all, this is an excellent site and community. I am so happy to have found it and hope to be a regular contributor. I didn't see this thread when I posted in the VC forum, but I'll gladly introduce myself here. My real name is Jesse, I'm 25 years old and currently live in North Carolina, USA, (I'll be moving shortly). I have a wife and three sons. I was in the NC Air National Guard until just recently and am about to go into the US Active Duty Army. I just ended a two and a half year tenure as a store manager for GameStop/EB Games. I have been videogaming since the age of four and try to stay on top of all current industry news. At one point, I could call myself a hardcore gamer, but life changes and I play when I can. There might be a few here who have owned as many consoles as I have, but I am quite proud of it and wish to share my list with you. The only consoles given to me were the Atari 2600, (my first foray into gaming), and the Virtual Boy. All others were bought with my own money saved from birthdays and holidays. We never had a lot of money growing up, so I usually saved for a while. Regardless, here is the culmination of years of gaming: Atari 2600 Nintendo Entertainment System Game Gear Super Nintendo Game Boy Game Boy Pocket Game Boy Color Virtual Boy Nintendo 64 Neo Geo Pocket Color (two times) Game Boy Advance (three times) Game Boy Advance SP (three times) Nintendo Gamecube Nintendo DS (three times) Nintendo DS Lite (two times) Sega Genesis Sega Dreamcast Playstation Playstation 2 (two times) Playstation Portable (two times) Nintendo Wii Personal Computer I hope I didn't miss any. What's that? No love for Microsoft? I'll buy one of their consoles as soon as they give me more than a few good reasons. You can also read more about me and see pictures at my webpage courtesy of myspace: www.myspace.com/ninten

| Hi I'm Phantom, 21 years old and my first Nintendo console was either the original GB or the NES. Currently unemployed I managed to get a wii console at launch by selling most of my game collection, so its now my mission to hunt them all down and get them back. I'm hoping the virtual console will make this task slightly easier to get back the ones I sold to get an N64 ages ago! I've been reading this site for a couple of weeks now, the people here seem kinda cool so I thought I'd join too. Oh yeah... If my spelling seems to go weird, its mainly because I mostly go on the internet using the wii browser. I was quite happy to find that the VC reviews were optimised for the wii internet channel Doesnt seem like the videos show up though.. (Btw....If you want to guess my real name, its six letters and starts with "K" ) |

| Hi everyone, another member here, I'm 22 years old and from the UK. I've been playing games for many years and I've got a reasonable sized collection of retro games. As you'd guess from my name I'm particularly into Sega games/consoles, but also I'm a big fan of the N64 and Gamecube. Had my Wii since launch, good machine, although to be honest I'm not loving it quite as much as the Gamecube yet but it's early days and virtual console is very handy. I've just come across the forums here, looks very good, hopefully I'll stay for a while. |
