No, it's not that. Playing the first game allowed me to understand the references, characters and locations I'd encountered in the Miles game but the main story arc of Miles wasn't quite as gripping as Phoenix Wright. A smuggling ring isn't exactly exciting stuff compared to MURDER.

Reminds me of the Mary Whitehouse Experience routine about the sound of MURDER compared to other crimes. You don't get gripping tales of 'Serious Fraud on the Orient Express'!

Also when you were required to make a leap of faith in Wright it didn't feel as contrived as some of the events in 'Investigations'. Anyone that has reached Case 3 and 5 may know what I mean .

Alice in Wonderland was a surprisingly fun with cool artwork, music and gameplay. A little easy but after all the courtroom battles it's nice to play something a little lighter.

I just completed Ace Attorney Investigations. I was expecting a lot of it and it didn't let me down for a single moment. The cases were overall better than most of the Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice cases. The final 2 cases may even have been the best ones in the series. The only thing that was inferior to the other games was the humor. A few court battles would have been nice too.

No, I didn't buy the last Katana which I heard you need to view "real ending" while sitting on the toilet.

I might grind for a bit tomorrow to do that. I'm slightly annoyed that I missed two trading cards somewhere along the line too so I can't 100% which I would otherwise have done as you can continue after you die.

Interesting ending though and I can see how its easy once again to interpret it as Suda taking yet another shot at gaming habits.

EDIT: I beat the real ending today. I like how when you start a new game you have all your gear from the previous one. This makes me think I might go for a 'Complete' afterall.

There seem to be new Trading cards to collect in this one. Will I still be able to pick up the ones I missed first time around?
