How did you like it?

I beat The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks the other day. I was only missing oe heart, and a few train parts. I was too lazy to try and get them.

Trying to beat:
Uncharted 2
Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (again)

Epic win.

FIRE EMBLEM Radiant Dawn is great throughout. The story, graphics, music, characters, everything. But I want better visuals next time and a general evolution of the series, Ike's story came to a good end in two epic strategy RPGs for the Wii.

9.5/10
for Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn packed together.

I want the next Wii Fire Emblem to surprise with lots of new cool stuff. Or something else, and anyway I have Shining Force now waiting for me and Ogre Battle needs more attention too (want to beat it before OB64 comes out), so there are the strategy RPG's I will play next.

Bonsai Barber (WW) - Going for all the awards, photos and postcards.
Driving Theory Practice (DS) - This one needs a better scoring system to provide meaningful feedback on progress.

On hold (till I beat the other games mentioned)

Spirit Tracks (DS) - Got bored and returned it.
Ocarina of Time (VC) - Just not enjoying it. I haven't the patience for it when the reward is so paltry. It just feels like one of those games you had to be there for and I missed that time.

Beaten Flower, Sun and Rain and just now I've beaten Bowser's Inside Story. Superb end boss!

Working on: Cursed Mountain

Agreed. I hope they continue to use the Laguz, they're awesome! But I hope they figure out someway to make them better. Because in most cases they either suck, or are way too good. Agreed on the visuals as well, although I didn't mind them too much. More cut scenes!

Yeah, definately more cutscenes. They're wonderful. At least in RD you can re-watch them in the Extras options. I watched them all again yesterday and it's sooo damn good. A cutscene after every stage, that would be neat

Beaten Cursed Mountain! After a wonky first half the game gets much better especially once you reach the mountain itself.

The motion controls whilst initially annoying aren't that bad once you practice some of the movements and read the manual to see what is expected for them.

Next up...whatever I get sent from the rental place! Oh and Pilot Wings of course.

I said, if they don't get Last Ninja 3 fixed by the end of the month, I want the 500 Wii Points I spent on it transfered back onto my Wii account and that game erased from my Wii account, and if that isn't going to work, I just want to give this broken game back and trade it for a working one from the same publisher and same price (asked for Impossible Mission or Boulder Dash). They haven't replied yet.

Do Nintendo Germay farm out their customer service to a 3rd party like in the UK or are you contacting them direct?

This game is my Achilles' Heel...always get distracted and pulled away from the game for such a long time that I keep starting over. I could go through all dungeons up to the Spirit Temple blind-folded, but have yet to beat the Spirit Temple...my furthest was at the very start of the Spirit Temple after changing back to an adult after acquiring the Silver Gauntlets. Currently starting the Spirit Temple as a child, but haven't played in over a month due to starting Final Fantasy X for the 5th time....in case you were wondering...sorry for the babbling

Updated! I just beat Excitebike, which is quite easy to beat. I'm not going to put it aside yet, because Wifi points are required to unlock some bikes. There's a good chance that the online racing is dead if I wait a few years to complete this game.

Completed Tetris mini on PSN (on PSP, since the game false-advertisedly doesn't work on PS3 yet). Marathon and all Variant modes cleared on the highest level and the in-game completion bar at 100%.

I'll try but I find the game exceptionally hard compared with the 64 version. It's more fun than I gave it credit for all those years ago though.

Beaten in 2010:

03.01.2010: The Last Ninja II (VC)
03.01.2010: The Last Ninja (VC)
05.01.2010: The Last Ninja III (VC) Played until crash after beating stage 1.
05.01.2010: Safecracker (Wii)
08.01.2010: The Last Ninja III (VC) Depending on what I collected I got 2 different kinds of crash in three plays.
08.01.2010: The Last Ninja II (VC) Beaten again in 28:04.
09.01.2010: Sam&Max *Season One* (Wii) Beaten all 6 chapters.
11.01.2010: Sonic The Hedgehog {Mega Drive Version} (VC) 4/6 Chaos Emeralds.
15.01.2010: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii) Beaten with 70/70 characters. Unlocked Hard Mode.
15.01.2010: Water Warfare (WW) Beaten all missions Gold. No ending? No credits? Did I miss something?
20.01.2010: TV Show King 2 (WW) Rank #1 in all difficulties in offline and online modes.
22.01.2010: Happy Hammerin' (WW) 100% Gold. Ranked #1 on all 12 wi-fi-leaderboards in Adventure Mode.
25.01.2010: Sonic The Hedgehog 2 {Mega Drive Version} (VC) 2/7 Chaos Emeralds.
29.01.2010: Sonic The Hedgehog 3 {Mega Drive Version} (VC) 2/7 Chaos Emeralds.
03.02.2010: The Last Ninja III (VC) Played til crash and wrote another mail.
07.02.2010: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (VC) 100% completed/collected everything.
09.02.2010: Samurai Shodown Anthology (Wii) Beaten Samurai Shodown VI on normal twice (with Galford and Gaoh)

New:

23.02.2010: Donkey Kong Country (VC) - 2 Player Contest Mode: Red Team 101% in 1:25 & Yellow Team 101% in 1:19.

Actually I beat the game with both teams. T'was a bit hectic sometimes switching the Classic Controller into Wiimote 1 and 2 everytime I pass a stage or lose a life since I only have one Classic Controller.
(Note I haven't reloaded my game at any time to artificially keep my game time down. If I did I could beat 101% in under 40 minutes.)
I have completed 101% before in 1 Player Mode back in 2006 when it was released on VC.

Also, I had a perfect 4 x 101% save on my original SNES cart.
That reads 1x101% in 1 Player Mode, 2x101% in 2 Player Contest Mode and 1x101% in 2 Player Team Mode, so all three save slots are covered.
My highscore on there was 1:15, so it was damn close this time.

Now there's still 2 Player Team mode left on the VC, then I have mastered every mode just like on my old SNES cart, but I think I really should get a second Classic Controller for that, since it's even more switching back and forth than in 2 Player Contest Mode: Every time an ape gets hit or if you want so switch manually between the two apes you have to change controllers.
I know it's stupid to beat a 2 Player Mode with only one player (and one controller) but I'm just such a DKC addict and want a perfect save file on my Wii.

I may also erase my 1 Player save (101% in 1:56) and start over again to get at least once a 101% time under 1 hour.

I wish I could give Super Metroid the same amount of love only to have this game beaten perfectly just once in my lifetime, but I'm so frightened about the damn "having collected 100% but you need to start all over again because you have 1 minute more than the 3 hours time limit"-feeling. I know what I'm speaking of. It's utter terrible.
Either I have 100% collectibles or less than 3 hours playtime upon beating the game. But I never managed to do both accomplishments in one file. This needs careful planning and supposedly lots of reloading when screwing up too much.

This is why I don't get speed runs. I've never understood why people do them and I probably never will. Rushing through a game that deserves to be savoured and then feeling like crud because you didn't do it 10 seconds faster isn't something I can understand.
