Frankly, I still can't call Super Paper Mario a real sequel in the Paper Mario series. It is a lot closer to a regular platformer and a lot less like an RPG. While it's a good game in its own right, it just doesn't fit in as well as the others do.

it's not a turnbased rpg like the previous two. i look at SPM and call it another platformer more than anything

and i wouldn't doubt for a second that the next mario rpg will be on the wii...if not then obv the ds. but it would look gorgeous and be a lot more fun on the wii i think.
