As some of you may know, we (Me and bro) have a sellers account on eBay, well, we recently sold a DVD boxset and got this message from a losing bidder (Got this message tonight).

I would like to know why i didnt win these items when at 1 minute to go i was winning and cant belive that items jumped to £16.00 in less than a minute... you had no reserve on this item either??????????????????? Not Happy

One of the items we sold, jumped up £10 on the final second!

That wouldn't have been kind at all, and this poor guy, besides the losing of the bid, would have grown spite towards you.

Once, a 'sniper' (as you call'em) failed to shoot his last bullet, of course I was sniping myself too, but I wasn't so trustful to wait the last 5 seconds, so I put my bid in the last minute. He tried once but didn't reach my last bid, so he serely tried another time raising the bid, but it was too late.

That was a very very funny moment. Like in Mario Kart DS, someone who picked up a star is chasing you, but you make him do mistakes and win anyway.

For the record: the bid was another neuzd-buys-cheap episode: a metallic grey (black pg) Telecaster look-alike electric guitar, for 58 €.
Anyway, its real value is not that far, it's built in china and has very bad components (except for pickups, zamn: it plays!). I just needed some 'battle instruments' to make some experiments with. Didn't want to joke around using my other 1000's € (and over) instruments.

PS:
I used the word 'zamn' as a substitute instead of swearing. Since it sounds like the name of a game I found it appropriate, but if it is unfair, you can censor it.

Best snipe I ever managed was 2 seconds before the end. More luck than judgement though - the page froze for a couple of seconds before my bid went through.
