Weekly Game Night

Game Nights:

A DS website I frequent organises weekly DS game nights, where everyone gets together in an IRC chatroom set up by one of the members, hangs out and plays DS games online for a couple of hours. Now I know There aren't that many online Wii games at the moment (what, 1 in the English-speaking world as of today, is it?), but the idea of a vc-forums gamenight in and of itself might not be so bad.

So my suggestion is as follows:
1)We decide a weekly time and place for this night.
2)We crack open a poll every week, with a list of online games, both DS and Wii at the moment, from which people can choose their favourite. The game with the highest number of votes becomes the main game of the night, but people who want to play other games are free to do so. Just meet up in the chatroom and organise matches. This is particualrly useful since most people won't have all the games in the poll.
3)Someone who knows what they're doing (i.e. not me) sets up an IRC channel for vc-forums.
4)We meet in this place at a set time and let the gaming commence.
5) The winning game in the poll is automatically eliminated from the poll, until all the games in the poll have been played through, after which the rotation starts all over again, i.e. each week there will be one fewer game in the poll (barring any new releases). This way all the games get played.

This post is more of a feeler to see if anyone's interested. If not, so be it; if they are, let's get this thing going.
