Look at my tradelist for Gradius Collection and EA Replay, if not how much for both?

Okay, I'm officially ****ed off.

This morning I received this through my letterbox from the US Postal Service:

"I want to extend my sincere apology as your postmaster for the enclosed document that was inadvertently damaged in handling by your postal service. We are aware how important your mail is to you. With that in mind, we are forwarding it to you in an expedious fashion"

Inside it was this:

An entirely empty, torn open envelope, which given that its marked "Betagam7", I'm presuming once contained two GBA games.

I'm presuming the US Postal Service arn't "expediently" forwarding them on to me now, but, as seems more likely, playing them on a theiving employee's GBA.

Refa, please tell me you took some sort of insurance out on this!

If not then I'd like to know why you charged me $3 postage when the postage on the envelope says it cost 61 cents...or did the flimsy, paper thin envelope you sent the carts in cost $2.39?

If so then you were ripped off, as it seems was I!

Is it normal to send game cartridges in a letter envelope?

When sending games I thought it's common sense to use cardboard boxes with plastic bubble wraps.

"WE CARE", that's hilarious! They put the torn empty envelope in another envelope like that's it? That's ok??
"Here! You got your mail! We spam you in the face!"

The police should take fingerprints!

BTW, what games were supposed to be in it?

To be fair, if this is a case of an unscrupulous employee ripping into an envelope, there's nothing that would stop him from doing the same thing to a bubble mailer or a box. I actually received a package from someone here (I forget who, maybe enig) that was packed up nice and tight in a bubble mailer and arrived completely open (repacked into one of those "We're so sorry!" USPS bags), but fortunately nothing was missing.

True, but to be extra fair $3 isn't the same thing as 69 cents and this isn't ebay where you expect people to overcharge other members of the community on postage. When I bought iceclimber off iirc Slangman on here he actually sent me a refund when the postage turned out cheaper than expected.

We are speculating that the envelope was ripped open by an postal employee but the envelope was so flimsy that its entirely likely that the carts themselves (especially the oversized boktai cart) could have caused the damage somewhere on the conveyor belt. If Refa had spent the $3 on better packaging then this might not have occurred, instead of trying to save a few bucks by using an ordinary envelope.

Bottom line is that I'm most likely now out of pocket and have no games to show for it because Refa decided to be cheap with the packaging. I wouldn't be nearly so angry if the packaging had been acceptable standard in the first place.

I'm sure Refa will be suitably embarrassed. Maybe a PM is the right place to go with this now.

I've sent GBA games in envelopes, I'd just tape them to thin cardboard. They get the job done just fine.

This morning a mysterious parcel dropped through my door, inside there be treasure :

Refa, I've no idea how you managed to get Boktai back but I hope it didn't involve killing any postal employees!

The other two games are also very generous gifts, thank you very much and consider your reputation restred!

Updated! I'll take VC/WW games as payment, but I've taken out most of the games I was previously selling. What games were you originally interested in?

I would like to buy:

Crash Bandicoot: Warped
Advanced Wars: Dual Strike
Mega Man Zero

And I would like to play through my newly created PayPal account.

I saw you had a bunch of portable games, and knew some of them had just been received by Beta, so I figured that before I got my hopes set on a bunch of games you no longer had for sale, I'd ask for you to update your list.

Anyway, the game I'm particularly interested in is Advance Wars Dual Strike, but I'm willing to let MickeyMac take precedence here.

Sure, and congragulations on your newfound PayPal account. I know what a pain in the ass it is. I'll PM you about 3-5 hours later.

pdRydia- Is that all you were interested in?

No. I was also interested in a number of the GameBoy games, the Gradius Collection (though probably not enough to buy it), some GBA titles, and some DS titles. Don't remember everything that caught my eye, because I didn't really look through the lists carefully after realizing it wasn't up-to-date.

I am kind of interested in your GBA Fire Emblem, but not $18 interested.

Refa, you can remove Mega Man Zero from my list(I pre-ordered the collection). So it'll just be Crash Bandicoot Warped and Advanced Wars Dual Strike.

I wish, but I don't have my bank account right now, so I can't really do anything with my PayPal account. Looks like we'll have to do the usual Gifting, won't we?

PS2; don't have a PS1, and I don't believe the PS3 is compatible with it. I'll see if that makes it work though.

I wonder if this has to do with a newer/stronger laser? A couple of my Gamecube games only like to play on my Wii so it sounds like a similar situation.

OK, I'm just going to sell the rest of my stuff in one big lot for a modest (I hope?) sum of money. I will sell all of this for $60.

PS1
Crash Bandicoot Warped (disc)
Final Fantasy Origins (fake case and disc)

PS2
Dragon Ball Z Budokai (disc)
Silpheed The Lost Planet (disc)
Space Channel 5 Special Edition (disc 1)
SpongBob Spuarepants Creature From The Krusty Krab (fake box and disc)

PC
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (disc)
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Holiday Hare '98 (disc)

DS
Castlevania Dawn Of Sorrow (empty DS box w/printed art and cart)
Castlevania Portrait Of Ruin (empty DS box w/printed art and cart)
Mario Kart DS (cart)

OR...If you have any games that I'm interested in, please make on offer. Old games mostly. Not looking for VC (or any DLC) games at the moment.
