Games you never got round to playing the 1st time round

what games did you never play when they were 1st released but always fancied? i mean the kind of games that were always like 3rd on your list of buys, but time went by, and they were quietly passed over

for me no 1 on this list is RC Pro am for the nes. i always wanted this, but there was always something else to buy, you know?

Mario 64 was the big one for me. Only played it once the following gen rolled around. Donkey Kong 64 is definitely on my list. Every Neo-Geo fighter ever would probably count in there as well

Before that, but for other reasons, were a bunch of SNES titles, mostly the Square RPGs that never got released in the West, Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger which inexplicably, Europe never got and Front Mission: Gun Hazard, which I played several years later and immediately ranked in my top ten.

Pretty much everything I've bought so far!
Never had a NES, SNES or Turbografx, though even some of the Megadrive and N64 games I've bought I've never played.
Step forward, Gunstar Heroes, Story of Thor and Lylat Wars to name just 3.

That is the exact reason why I wanted a Wii in the first place. To play games I never had a chance to before and sell games that I own for older systems so I can download them all on to one single console. Nintendo, thank you for the Virtual Console!

Although I grew up during the nes days, I never got a console from my parents. The cube was the first and only console I had before the Wii.
