There has been a lot of discussion recently about when a new Wii console will come out. Some say the new Wii console will be available in 2010
A lot of reports are saying the new Wii will be out at some point before 2011. There have also been reports to say that the new Wii will fully support the entire back catalogue of Nintendo Wii and Virtual Console games.
Nintendo have already said that high definition or HD is not their primary focus for the next Wii, but with all other consoles of this generation being fully HD, it seems strange that Nintendo would restrict themselves graphically. Graphics though, have never Nintendo’s main aim. The Wii always focuses on basic fun and some exceptional game-play, especially local multi-player fun.
We’re not sure what the next Wii Console will bring, not are we even sure when this new Wii console will be released, but I’m sure Nintendo will do an excellent job of expanding the existing system with new features and gaming mechanics. Let’s hope!
