Funny rewrites of history.

Rewrite history, but in a funny way.

As we all know the SEGA Mega Drive is known as the SEGA Genesis in the states.

"Why's that?" You ask?

Well i'll tell you Timmy.

Mega Drive was the name they wanted to go with, but it had already been copyrighted in the states. So they had to come up with something, and quick. All the Devs were told to go away and think of something. But while they were all sitting around thinking of names, one Dev didn't know anything about it, as he was to busy watching his favourite band live on T.V.

As the concert finished, this one Dev shouted out with glee "I LOVE GENESIS" and bam, the rest is history

Another funny rewrite I heard was set in the Garden of Eden (not really related to gaming though...)

God says to Adam that he's going to make him a companion called Woman. He says "she will always obey you, never argue over pointless stuff, will always respect you, never remember you're mistakes and will never insist on being right all the time"

Adam says "what's that gonna cost me?"

God says "an arm and a leg"

Adam says "what can I get for a rib?"

The rest is history...
