The legal team of Lucasarts may have something to say about these Cheap plastic holsters for your Wiimote are nothing new and third party peripheral manufacturers are practically falling over themselves to produce even more outlandish (and ultimately pointless) pieces of ‘controller clothing’. However, one item that did impress us in a thoroughly superficial way was the lightsaber attachment for your Wiimote that came out a few months back. Accessory firm Camy has now gone one better with three lightsaber caddies each in a different colour. You can act out your Jedi fantasies with the green and blue varieties or accept the Dark Side of the Force with the red version. These things even light up, which is very cool but requires an additional set of batteries (as if you didn’t have enough to worry about with the Wiimotes themselves). With Star Wars: The Force Unleashed currently in development this is ideal timing by Camy, but we can’t help but feel the novelty of this item will wear off pretty swiftly.
