When I skimmed the villains thread I got thinking it might be nice to talk about some of the favorite cartoons you had when growing up.
There's He-Man for one. Probably my favorite of all. It's sad that most kids today will probably never know the cartoon. It was awesome! Even though it had really silly names like He-Man and She-Ra (very imaginative =P). And then there was that amazingly bad Masters of the Universe live-action film. Still loved it back then. Thundercats, ho! Frankly, I really don't remember much about this one, but it I know I liked it a lot. TNMT, Transformers There was one show I can't remember the name of. It looked Japanese/anime-style. It was a team of four/five fighting a ?cyborg-like? force. Their main mode of transportation and homebase was this giant jet that could transform into a robot, and one of the good guys' (nick)name was Fireball. I think the leader of the group carried around a saber and rode a mechanical horse of sorts - I think. Come to think of it, saber may have been one of the words in the title.... Edit: Guess I just figured it out by myself (with help of Google/Wikipedia): Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. Also one of my favorites. Jeebus! Didn't know it took six years after it was released in Japan to be shown in Germany. I guess that may be a good thing because I was only two years young when it came out in Japan. Seems like they edited a lot of things when it was brought to the Western market. Censored violence, among others. Boo! =P

He-Man
Thundercats Saber Rider Is it just me or do today's cartoons just seem so crappy, in comparison to the one one's from the 80's/early 90's?

Charlie Brown and Snoopy!
This isn't the intro I wanted (I was looking for the one without lyrics, but had no luck finding it Noah's Island Adventures Back when we our N64 controllers might as well have been glued to our hands, this was the only thing that could drag my brothers and I away from our Nintendo box of fun. What's odd then is that I barely remember it! I loved the woolly mammoths though Ducktales Best cartoon theme tune out there? I believe so Recess This used to be the thing that had me waking up early on Saturday mornings. There's a reason Disney Channel are repeating it endlessly to this day! Much love for Ulysses 31...very odd atmosphere to that cartoon, especially the crew in suspended animation.
Battle of the Planets (G-Force to those in the US), Lost Cities of Gold, Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, Pac-Land, can't believe no one has mentioned Dungeons and Dragons. Taz-Mania, Looney-Tunes, Wacky Races, Captain Caveman, Scooby Doo (original stuff, NOT with any additional family members), Charlie Chan and the Chan Clan. Tom & Jerry, Droopy, Inspector Gadget, Dangermouse, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Catch the Pigeon and Top Cat. May have missed some.
