I'LL BE DAMNED FOR DOWNLOADING THIS CRAP!!

THE EU VERSION OF THE GAME DOESN'T WORK!
CRASHES IN THE MENUS BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN START A GAME!
IN ALL 3 MODES YOU CAN'T PLAY MORE THAN 2 SHORT GAMES - THE GAME WILL FREEZE WITH A HIGH MONOTONE SOUND AND YOU NEED TO POWEROFF YOUR Wii! THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO ENJOYMENT WHEN THE GAME BREAKS DOWN EVERY 1 OR 2 MINUTES.

Don't download Family & Friends Party. This is a glitchy stinker.
A flan in your face.
A virus eating up your Wii Points.

0/10 Stars - Unplayable Pre Beta Alpha version.

Wow, that sucks SKTTR. A game shouldn't be able to make it to market if it has any chance of freezing your Wii like that.

Know, I got 2000 points Thursday evening, waiting for the update.

800 points were saved for SimEarth and the rest was for a 4-player-party game
because I had 3 friends over here and we wanted to have a fun game party night,
so it was a spontaneous decision to download Family & Friends Party.
We thought it was worth it, no matter what, just to have a good evening.

After 2 hours, 20 freezes and crashes, 6 deletes and re-downloads and
only 2 minutes of gameplay we came to conclusion that
the game has a serious bug and the party was busted.

I emailed Nintendo and the publishers Gammick Entertainment, but received no answer yet.

When I contacted EnjoyUp, the developers mailed back immediately.
They said they're sorry for the bug, it may be caused by the Miis,
I should send them a few and they will look which one of my Miis is causing the crash.
They sent me their Wii code and I sent them mine.

I had 88 Miis and that's a bit too much really, so I had to delete some.
The ex-friends Miis and the ones I created for the Mii-competition channel,
then some contacts from my Wii address book etc.
Now I have just 40 Miis left. (The game still crashes and freezes - even more than before) so that was just ... ridiculous!!!
By the way, all other games work with all Miis! (and i have more than 20 games that support the Mii feature)

It's a pain really.

1 - party busted (with a game that has Party in the title) ironic isnt it?
2 - 1000 wii points wasted
3 - contacting the people who are in charge
4 - deleting much of my Miis
5 - helping the developers fixing the bug
6 - lots of time and work

usually when a game is damaged, i just take it back to the shop
and trade it in for a working version or get my money back.

but now i'm a beta tester in Family & Friends Party.

I'm just annoyed because I really can't have a game party with my friends every day! It's one of those moments when everything just comes together perfectly and it's hard to get this constellation again.

You know, a working version of the game would have been worth 1000 points just at that specific evening!

It's good to see the devlopers caring, but it's not 100% sure if the bug is really caused by one of my Miis, so I'm still sitting in the dark, hoping the best (update coming) and fearing the worst (1000 points and lots of Miis and time wasted).

That stinks. Was this game even tested before its release? I wonder if the NA version suffers from those problems too. Nether (SP?) the less I hope there’s a bug fix soon so you can enjoy your game in peace.

news from me.
Thanks.
Great news.

Family & Friends Party was deleted from the Wii Shop Channel.

Can I have my 1000 points back now?

Whoah, I didn't know that was even possible! They really should give you back your 1000 points, that seems really unfair.

I'm guessing that either Nintendo doesn't want to sell a game that'll **** up your machine, or EnjoyUp doesn't want to be known for this game...or both.

Maybe now they'll fix or remove that C64 game, eh?
