Is F-Zero worth down loading on the VC?

I don't have the game, I played it a lot, but never had the time to dedicate to it to beat it or have an exhaustive knowledge of the game (another thing would be F-Zero GX....)

Without further information, I can only give you a short answer based on my own taste. That answer is: no.

If you like that kinda game. I'd get F-Zero X.
I happen to be a big fan of the series. I have every game, including in an import. (Well not F-Zero 2: Grand Prix, because that was only released in Japan for a BS download system. So I just play it on an emulator, because it's impossible to get now.)

Its pretty good. But F Zero X is much better.

Fzero-X (N64) Is a lot better, there is unlockable cars, characters and tracks (and a lot of them!)

Yeah, it's pretty hard to recommend the original one, even to racer fans. It hasn't aged well at all.

I disagree, F-zero X is better overall yes but the SNES f-zero has a certain feel to it that IMO has not aged at all. Its still awesome fun and well worth 800 points. It was my first VC download and i love it.
