any chance we can see either of these akklaim published games on the VC. I don't know who the new publisher is that released the new Turok on 360 but I'd definetly love to see extreme G on VC.
I loved that game more than wipeout with its insane tracks and sense of speed and its awesome techno 90's trance soundtrack. Extreme g has to be one of the most underrated racers ever IMO. |

Don't know who holds the rights to the Extreme G series now...

The Extreme-G property was acquired by Throwback Entertainment in 2006 after Acclaim filed for bankruptcy. (Thanks Wikipedia)
http://www.throwbackentertainment.com/ I only played the PS2 version, but I remember enjoying it a lot. It was like a faster, less slippery Wipeout. |

I wish it were possible, but I just don't see it coming: especially Turok.

Although I personally never owned any of the Turok games, (With exception to the new one for my 360.) I have heard nothing but good things about them and from looking at some videos of it on Youtube it looks like alot of fun. I'd definantaly download it, so here's hoping

Turok is based on a comic book, so it would be up to whoever publishes the comic to agree, unless Disney owns exclusive rights to the games now. There could be problems but it's not impossible. It doesn't matter to me because I own them all but I hope it is released for everyone else, it's a series worth playing.

Yeah, Extreme-G'd be sweet, although the second one sucked big times.
And Turok would surely be highly appreciated as the VC (and the Wii as a total) lacks FPS. I wonder why we haven't got Doom 64 already. I mean: It's been ported to sooooo many gaming systems, so I guess the Wii VC is bound to get it some day...unless, of course, Nintendo doesn't allow for games gorier than Splatterhouse II. |

I think Doom 64 is unlikely because it's not a popular game (for a Doom game it wasn't well received) and it's not Nintendo published. It's never been ported by the way, Doom 64 is a unique game in the series and not another port.

Isn't Doom 64 just Doom with polygons?

Not exactly, its story followed on from Final Doom (though there's not much of a story) and it has completely different levels. It would've been OK but the gameplay was quite a way behind other FPS's by then.
