I'm not sure I understand the point of these two moves. I would think releasing both games throughout the world would only make the company more money?????

At least the US is getting Goo instead of E's Child.

I thought Eternity's Child is supposed to be one of those big exciting WiiWare marquee games. Why would they only release it in France?

i was looking forward to this game, but i have no interest in playing a platformer on my PC. this was the talked about title for the Wii Ware, and it has generated a lot of buzz for a while now. it would almost be like the PS3 not releasing MGS4 outside of japan. well, maybe not to that level but its the same idea.
i hope 'the powers that be' reconsider there decision, because im sure they will make tons of money with a US release aswell. 500 points! you cant beat that.
personally, im willing to wait for a WW release if the reviews are good.

So according to our article, Bernard doesn't know if EC's coming to NA's WiiWare because Alten8 (who's in charge of the WiiWare stuff) hasn't told him anything about NA plans, and apparently he hasn't asked.

I'm...not terribly surprised. Bernard has a confusing way of expressing himself, gives off the idea that he's kinda scatterbrained--though I get the idea that, more accurately, he's the kind who's rushing around from thing to thing, idea to idea, and forgetting about or forgetting to explain details in the rush. Not asking about something like that is in line with what little I know of him.

I imagine if they're going through the trouble of translating the game to all the European languages, though, they're more than halfway through the troubles of getting the game out in NA. It makes a lot of sense that they'd release it over here after releasing it in Europe--enough sense that I'm not really concerned that it's not coming here.
