Has anyone else herd of this game? The people at IGN and Gamespot don't rate it to high ( if I'm correct 3.5 ) but I think this game looks good. It's the first M-rated game for wii, which is kinda sad. But I think it's about this guy and his girlfriend and his friend go to this island but his girlfriend and his friend goes missing. So obviously he trys to find them. But the island is covered with man eating 7 foot bugs! Gross. So you defend your self and the graphics are pretty good for wiis standards and that's all I know here's a trailer for it. It might not work, if it doesn't search on Google and write escape from bug island. And gamespot or IGN will have it.

You'd be much better served with Resident Evil 4. Honestly.

Well, game four turned into something completely different from the previous titles. While the games before it deal with more puzzle and things-that-make-you-jump elements with a quite archaic movement and save system, RE4 is much more about a slick action-packed, third-person perspective experience... with lots of gore.
I find it hard to recommend anything before four, even if I may have liked those, because of the relatively dumbed down control mechanics. Hell, for quite some time I've been pondering whether to re-purchase the earlier RE titles, but I decided against it because they just can't hold a candle to the latest game (and I've played them to death before). In addition, RE 2,3, and Code Veronica X are nothing but straight ports to the GC of the original releases. I am looking forward to Umbrella Chronicles, though. It will encompass pretty much the entire storyline from before RE4, plus those missing bits and pieces that haven't been told yet. Plus, you can't beat blasting hordes of zombies.

Is Bug Island even out yet? It really bothers me when sites give ratings to games that aren't out.
I doubt it'll be better than Resi4 (which I got last week, and is brilliant), but you never know until it's out! |

On wikipedia said it came out july 24 2007. But I haven't seen it anywhere and no commercials. But I've never seen wikipedia wrong....

It was released in Japan at that date.
While the japanese version was poorly received by critics and general public (due to poor graphics, terrible gameplay and stupid events), it is said that the american version will be improved... Let's see if that's true or not.

The US version is out already and it's gotten equally poor reviews even with some issues fixed.
