Lol, guess what I have downloaded. It's one of my favorites too. Too bad the most popular one was the english one. I would have preferred Japanese with text.

For anyone looking for a unique anime series that does things a little differently, I'd really recommend Kino's Journey which I just finished watching. It's a 13 episode series about a girl that travels the world on her talking motorcycle (Don't laugh!) and visits different countries for three days.

In a way each episode (With the exception of the two episode arc halfway through) is a self contained story which makes it ideal for both marathoning and watching one episode at a time. It's very enjoyable and is quite philosophical, though not in a pretentious or heavy handed way. It's definitely one I'll rewatch in the future

I second the support of Kino's Journey. Its a very interesting, enjoyable series, and slightly unappreciated series. Its a shame its not very well known amongst anime fans...or at least the ones I know.

The only problem is that Its reaaaally hard to tell Kino's gender at first...

All nice and updated. Will do the other two lists tomorrow quick. Just need to do Dark Oak and Mr.R. Did the most i could for now. Updated Kino's Journey for Jazzem and added Jonno and CastlevaniaTest. Didn't do y0ss4ri4n for the fact he/she didn't put enough info for me to work with, it's great you like these things but please tell me if it is anime or manga at least, and do it in list form.

Also Jonno could you please give me an age rating and themes for Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryu to Hikari no Tsurugi as i cannot find anything on it.

Much Thanks everyone. Feedback on the list would be appreciated also, perhaps some pointers how to make it better or if there is something you don't like about it I could change.

In the meantime as always, Keep em' comin' =D

One Piece has over 337 episodes and 9 movies, DragonBall Z has 291 episodes and 11 movies, you plan to never see me again?

No one really looks good to me either :/
DragonBall has also an original series that is 153 episodes and 7 movies long, this would take a eternity. I'll probably go with Genshiken or something.

Finally finished 'Death Note' (Manga) bar volume 8. It was good and had a satisfying ending. The constant exposition does get a little tiresome though!

Ghost in the Shell (Manga) was good but the movie was better at exploring some of the themes of consciousness and identity. The extra 'adult' content that didn't make the movie felt gratuitous and didn't really add anything so it made sense to leave it out.

Buddha (Manga) and Phoenix (Manga) were very good. Long, involved and strange but not without humour. Recommended. I look forward to the rest of the series.

Dragon Head (Manga) just gets nastier and nastier but without being over the top. Also highly recommended.

Does Speed Racer count as an anime? If so:

+ Speed Racer
+ Voltron
+ Gatchaman

And in Manga:

+ King of Fighters: Kyo

Oh, and about Shin-Chan, I'm watching the American apaption, which is by no means a family show. Should be 16+.

Please add Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle.
And what the heck, King of Fighters: Another Day was actually pretty decent, so add that as well.

Also, remove Gatchaman, I haven't watched it since I was little, so there's no point in keeping it on there.

Meanwhile, Digimon Tamers is the only seaon of Digimon that I still enjoy; even after all these years it still hasn't gotten old! So you might as well add it to my list, too, thank you very much.

And finally I think Megas XLR counts as an anime, right? If so, add that to my list, and mark it as my favorite, thanks.

I was never really a huge fan of anime or manga, and after hearing about that Hentai crap during middle school, I despised it for a couple of years. But I'm slowly starting to like it again.

Some Animes I like are Record of Lodoss War, Shin-Chan, Yuyu Hakusho (the original version, not the wierd Toonami-friendly version), Kirby: Right Back at Ya! (I know it's a kid's show, but I love that little puff-ball! ), and Miyazaki films like Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service. I used to like DBZ and the Pokemon show as a kid, but theystarted to lose it's appeal once I started going into my teen years, ESPECIALLY Pokemon. I used to love it, but can't stand it anymore.

I don't read a lot of Manga either, but I did read a few issues of Dragonball one of my friends had in 5th grade. Those were pretty good.

Yeah, same story here, except nobody warned me about that damn hentai ahead of time.

Also, you just reminded me:

+ Kiki's Delivery Service

+ Spirited Away

Edit: Okay I just remembered some old favorites that I had COMPLETELY forgotten about:

+ Rurouni Kenshin

+ .hack//SIGN

+ Cyborg 009

+ Duel Masters

+ Ronin Warriors

+ Outlaw Star

+ Gundam 08th MS Team

+ Zatch Bell

+ Samurai Jack( does that even count as an Anime?)

+ FLCL

And I suppose you could add s-CRY-ed, that wasn't bad, and neither was Samurai Champloo. Nor was Paranoia Agent, for that matter.

And darnit, I plum forgot about Fullmetal Alchemist.

I'm really looking forward to this Friday when Naruto comes out. Naruto vs Kakuzo or whatever his name is. Should be a cracker.

PS Did people hear that Dattebayo will stop subbing naruto Jan 15 next year (yes, this time they're serious) as naruto will start being subbed for free by Viz (with a one week wait however).

Holy cow, really? I haven't watched the anime for a long time (been reading the manga bit though) so I had no idea that Viz was going to start doing this kind of stuff. How much do you want to bet that when Naruto says "Dattebayo" there'll be "Believe it!" in the subs?

Yeah, it was pretty good, certainly one of the better animes that I've seen, and it at least made enough sense that it didn't **** me off at every turn.

+Le Chevalier D'Eon

Just started watching it, and I'm really digging it so far. I'm only one episode in, and it started as a fairly well made historical detective story and ended as a full blown supernatural conspiracy involving demons, french royalty and lost souls.

The animation isn't mind blowing, but it's solid, and so far, seems rather historically accurate (not that I know a whole lot about the court of Louie XV).

All and all, it looks pretty promising.
