Compared to Hayden Christienson he acts like Brando!

Last movie I saw was Meet the Spartans. Some very funny gags but overall no more than a 6 out of 10.

Man, Carmen Electra is starting to look old.

No Country For Old Men: 3/10

I hated this movie, which is weird because I like the Cohen Brother's other movies. It's the story that I don't like, I just didn't get into it. I almost fell asleep like 4 times and that never happens when I'm watching movies! I know a lot of other people really liked this but I don't.

NOOOO!!!

You didn't like how everything in the story represents something? Anton Chigur represents death, etc.?

Not sure if you now but A Trailer for a Legend of Zelda Film was posted on IGN today. It's probably an April Fools joke but the company it's said to be made by is real and has an official pager about the film on there website, www.Rainfallfilms.com and here is the trailer. http://uk.movies.ign.com/dor/article...er_040108.html

What do you lot think? Either way, The Trailer looks absolutely terrific

Seems like a lot of effort for an April Fools Joke. I've emailed Rainfall Films and asked about this as if it's true then the timing couldn't be more unfortunate. I remember a couple of years ago IGN said there was a film being made so who knows? it could happen

The thing that solidifies it as a prank is the release date at the end of the trailer. April 1, 2009? First off, I wouldn't expect that a studio would openly release the date if it's still a year away. Secondly, the end information contains the IGN logo, meaning they're behind it directly. Thirdly, Ganondorf looks waaaay to hokey for it to be real.

Or it's real and it's going to totally suck.

Big sites like IGN have to put a lot of effort into their pranks to make them believable. Besides, they have the contacts and the resources to throw something like this together on their spare time throughout the year. It's got to be a prank. Besides, it looks horrible anyway, so even if the movie were really being made, it would be an April Fool's prank against Nintendo.

They claim it is being made by an Independent Film company so if it were real, that could explain why it looks horrible, a low budget. IGN also said about a Gears of War film. Is that one an april fools joke as well?

That might've been because it was a worldwide release date, or it was big budget, or because The Simpsons are a hotter commodity than Zelda.

I just watched the trailer on Youtube by IGN.......this is the fakest looking movie trailer ever. At the end, in the credits part, it actually has IGN's logo.

Thanks for getting me excited about nothing!

My dream is that, if Nintendo ever decided to make a Zelda movie, all laws of physics are somehow broken and the movie actually doesn't stink.

Superhero Movie. Missed the first 10 minutes of it, because we were running late. I thought it was funny, but it just wasn't all that I expected it to be. I mean Leslie Neilson was in it, and he is a trip, he is so freakin' funny that pretty much why the movie was funny. So I would give Superhero Movie, and 6/10

Scary Movie 4, Date Movie, Epic Movie, Superhero Movie... Every one lacking. The charm of these kind of movies are wearing off now that they seem to release them bi-yearly. I did enjoy their previous movie spoofs though.

Drillbit Taylor - 8/10

I thought it was very humorous at times, probably because I generally like Owen Wilson movies.

Spore, they lacked charm to begin with. Just mindless comedy for the drone movie goer. I can't stand those movies (except for Scary Movie 2 because Tim Curry is just too damn awesome)

Yes, only 6. But don't just not go to it when someone rates it a bad one. If you want to see it go ahead.

I agree, those movies you mentioned were getting very old. But I think their best movie was Scary Movie 3. I thought that was my favorite of all of those Scary Movie spoofs.

If you think of them as horror movies instead of comedies they're a lot better.

Kind of like how I can think of most horrors as comedies! Switch the genres around and you got yourself a classic.

Bill Nye the Science Guy: Rock and minerals - Bah why do schools make me watch this garbage 4/10

Exit Wounds- it came on after Family guy the other day I was too lazy to change the channel, it turned out to be a pretty good movie actually. It's probably the first cop/ganster movie I've ever liked 8/10

Family Presents STAR WARS - haha pretty good, just the kind of average Family Guy things put in there. It was pretty funny, I've seen better episodes, but it was still pretty good 8/10.

Just watched Clive Owen in Shoot 'Em Up. A very stylized, tongue-in-cheek, and yet still extremely corny action movie. I thought it tried to be "aware" of it's own cheesiness, but it didn't mitigate the, uh, over the top cheesiness. :P

Yeah, just like "Freddy Vs. Jason"? Yeah, my friend was happy when Kelly Rowland's character died. I guess he hates her. But yeah, I know what you mean. That movie I guess can consider to be a horror comedy.

I just got done watching Juno. I really liked it. I know a few people say it's a chick-flick, but I didn't really care. I thought it was funny, and very well put together. Haven't listened to the soundtrack yet, but it sounds awesome. Juno: 9/10

Platoon - 8/10

Watched this in my film criticism class. Despite the fact that it is cheesy on the exterior, it raises a lot of really important questions. It is also a very realistic portrayal of the Vietnam War at ground level, without any political distractions. I can imagine at the time it was very brave and influential...It was one of the first movies to really bring out what went on in the field in Vietnam, and also very visually impressive.

Acting is top notch. Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger, Willem Dafoe (especially Willem), Forest Whitaker, Keith David, and even a young Johnny Depp. It is one of those films where the acting never falters, even when the dialogue does. Yeah, it's cheesy at times, and over the top, but it won the Oscar for Best Picture for a reason. Recommended.

Great movie. Was really undecided until everything came together at the end.
