There is this test someone posted on GameFAQs and I thought it'll be interestingly enough to post it here. Hopefully that's okay!

What's your Gamer Class? Take the BrainHex Questionnaire!

Basically this is a BrainHex test which supposedly defines your Gamer Class, think of it as a Myers-Briggs test for gamers. This is a short quiz and should be no longer than 5 to 10 minutes. Also for the optional question where they ask for your Myers-Briggs Type, here's a link to a short form to those interested.

I have to say that this is about correct, I love the thrill and I think this stems from my love for horror movies. But out of the games they've mentioned, I only really liked were Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill. Though not technically my major preference in gaming [I'm more of a RPG person.], thus why my Achiever Class is just shy one point. And I do love games like Final Fantasy and Mario which is more of my style. Not only that, but I just got myself addicted to Left 4 Dead, thanks to my sibling, so that further concretes my Survivor Class.

I'd say that's mostly accurate. Achiever and Conquerer being roughly level fits me well, same as Survivor and Mastermind being level. Socialiser being below low fits me brilliantly, and Seeker and Daredevil both fit where they are.

According to this, my favourite games should be Call of Duty, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Metroid, StarCraft, Super Smash Bros, Final Fantasy, Mario, Monopoly, Monster Hunter, Pokémon and World of Warcraft.
I've never played World of Warcraft, StarCraft or Monster Hunter, so I have no clue about them really, but MMOs aren't my thing.
Halo and Call of Duty, although a genre that I'd deem okay but not brilliant, are mostly made for their online play, which as shown by my Socialiser rating being below 0, isn't my kind of thing.
Metal Gear has taken my fancy, so I bought a few of them recently. I'm expecting gold.
Super Smash Bros, Metroid, Mario, Pokémon and Final Fantasy are all great series that I enjoy muchly.
And Monopoly is fun, but being a long board game doesn't make it easy to find time to play to the end, therefore I haven't played it in quite a while.

BTW, how does one find the recommended games? There's probably an obvious answer, but I dunno what that is. I think mine is pretty spot on, because I really like games with a lot of attention to detail, and solving puzzles is pretty fun (although I've never actually gotten into the genre-maybe I should play more puzzle games ). Don't really like completing things if I don't feel like it either. Wierdly, I barely play online, yet I got No Mercy!...OK?

PS What's up with that "I wish to not disclose?" Seems kinda like a pointless option.

So apparently I like Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Grim Fandango, Okami, Shadow Of The Colossus, and Zelda. I haven't played any of these besides Final Fantasy, and to be honest, I have no idea what they put FF up there for. Considering how different each game in the franchise is, I'd have prefered maybe some more specific recommendations. I'd like to own Grim Fandango, but then again, I'd like to own Suikoden 2. I might be picking up one of the Elder Scrolls games in the future (curiously, I wasn't recommended Fallout).

Kind of point of habit from another forum I go to where people did not like saying what answer they had, but they wanted the poll out of the way so they can read the topics. So just ignore it.

I expected him to get a Conqueror highscore! YEAH!

I thought Daredevil must be higher for you, but on the other hand now I realise being a daredevil isn't a good gaming skill/attitude/thing at all.
At least it's not good to have in hardcore shmups. Being a Daredevil means losing lives and continues at every opportunity where being a Mastermind is of much more importance.

Teehee, that's true I guess. I just find games - especially team-based - much more interesting and fun when there are people rambling on while you play.

Seeing the recommended games, I answered the poll correctly (prior to taking the test), which is odd. The games I like suggest I'm a Seeker, but yet the test showed Achiever....hmmmm, interesting....really liked the test, though

The suggested games come from that question "What 3 games epitomize gaming..." It then matches up common games from what others have said that got similar results to you. Hopefully, some day it will suggest Might and Magic Clash of Heroes DS to the mastermind crowd, since that game is everything my secondary class would want.
