Default What's your favorite anime music?

I am a huge anime fan. However, I do not have Television in my house to watch the anime. I just download them and watch them on my computer. So, I do not have many variety of anime music that I have heard. Anyway, I have some of my favorite music

1. The opening music for Cowboy Bebop
2. Opening music for Kenshin
3. Opening music in Mahoromatic
4. Ending music in Digimon 3

So, what's yours?

Pretty much the entire soundtrack to FLCL. Gotta love the Pillows.
Cowboy Bebop and .Hack// both had excellent soundtracks as well. And the soundtrack to Beck wasn't half bad either.

I just got into "rise" after hearing the iDOLM@STER version of it. I didn't knew Origa done more songs, I have to listen to them.

I am a fan of J-Pop music, so my anime music reflects that. I don't keep up with anime, so most of these songs are oldies. These are just my opinions, so I don't know if you would like these:

Arad Senki ~Slap-Up Party~ - "Level ∞" [Ending Theme].
- Sounds like a NES RPG on crack. I came across this looking for songs by Akiko Hasegawa.

Macross Plus Movie - "pink monsoon" [Insert Song].
- I was trying to find other songs from Macross because I loved Sharon Apple's songs and this song came up, loved it.

Mamono Hunter Yohko 6 - "Touch My Heart" [Ending Theme].
- One of those oldie, but goodie songs. I'm still mad at myself for not watching MHY6 yet.

Mermaid Melody Pure - "Ankoku no Tsubasa" [Insert Song].
- My friend loved this anime, so I was trying to listen to the songs from it. I only liked this one.

Project A-Ko - "Dance Away" & "Follow Your Dreams" [Insert Song].
- One of those feel-good songs.

Ranma ½ Movie 2 - "A Piece of Love" [Ending Theme].
- There's a lot of Ranma songs I like since I grew up on this anime. Another great song is the opening theme.

Elaborate. Which of the opening themes? And I like The Comeback Kid: Eyecatch no 3, The second season intro (Also called Little Date) and In the Throes of Combat - It All Comes Down To This.

This. Adding to those I pretty much like every song from Hokuto No Ken. Cromartie High School has a pretty chill opening theme too.

Don't watch enough anime to have a favourite soundtrack yet but I love the FLCL soundtrack, it's my favourite part.

I'm pretty open to a lot of music, so I end up really liking almost all anime music I hear in the animes I watch. If I had to pick a few stand-outs from the top of my head from almost every anime I've seen, I'd go with:
From Fullmetal Alchemist - Lost Heaven by L'Arc-En-Ciel - This song appeared at the end of the movie during the credits roll. While many didn't like the movie much, I thought at the very least, this was the perfect song to end the series. The version I linked to is good quality, but it doesn't have the translated lyrics, which do help to convey the meaning better.

From The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - God Knows by Aya Hirano - Again, lyrics do help, but not as necessary in this one. And again, maybe I just really like this song because of the moment it comes in the anime, but you have to admit the guitar is pretty awesome.

From Bleach - Chu-Bura by Kelun - Ok! This time I'm pretty sure I don't like this song because of association with a time in the anime. This song was an opening for the filler arcs of Bleach so that couldn't possibly be it. This song just kicks ass (at least to me). Check it out.

From Eureka Seven - Storywriter by Supercar - This song made a appearances typically during pivotal moments in the first half of the anime. Don't know what the lyrics mean, but I like it anyway.

From Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Again by Yui - Lyrics fit the new start of FMA so perfectly and they fit Yui's return to releasing music perfectly as well. Give it a listen.

I'd post some more but I have a feeling I have enough as it is. An honorable mention is the Cowboy Bebop theme but others have already mentioned it enough. If anyone is interested to hear more theme songs from the animes I listed above, here's a playlist I've accumulated of every one I could find: http://www.playlist.com/playlist/18746083083

I listen to loads of anime music, some of my favourites are:

"Last regrets" by Ayana (Kanon 2006 OP) - Melancholy piano melody with beautiful singing. Combined with the opening animation, I absolutely adore this song. It completely wraps you up in it and gets you in the mood for a more sombre story.

"GO! GO! MANIAC" by a lot of people (K-ON!! OP) - Heh, the OP for the new season of K-ON that so many people hate I don't know why I love this one so much, it's frentic and energetic and it just pounds you nonstop, I'm constantly tapping my feet to this one.

"Dango Daikazoku" by Chata (Clannad ED) - Another recent addition, this one has a very beautiful chorus, and the idea of this mass of dangos that you could interpret as people being all together, forming one giant family, creating life... I like the imagery that accompanies it

"Kigurumi Wakusei" by Takagaki Ayahi (Hanamaru Kindergarten ED 2) - EPIC. That is all I can say. A space opera sung by someone imitating a kindergarten student. This is like the best idea for a song ever. And it's truly a stunning song. You become completely enveloped in it.

There are many more of course, but I tend to listen to those most often, at least as of late.
