Default Super Bowl '09 Steelers vs. Cardinals

Any avid football fans here, besides me?
If so, have a seat and get comfortable!

I'm pullin' for the Cardinals Sunday, since they're kind of new to the whole "winning" thing.
The Steelers have been there, done that. So seeing them win wouldn't be as exciting. (Plus a friend of mine loves the Steelers and who really wants their friends to be happy?)

Anyway, the most exciting event in American sports is less than 24 hours away!

I'm not a HUGE Football fan, as I only watch a single game every now and then. But that's partially because they usually start while doing my homework (I've recently gotten myself to start earlier though). That, and many of the games I don't care about.

If you weren't such a wonderful guy Alex, I would've voted for the Steelers.

I'm a fan of playing football... It's really a game of simulated hand to hand war. Having your forces push through with the "secret weapon/Ark of the Covenant" (ball) to the enemy's camp and figuring out the best way to get there.

I don't know anything about college or pro standings, but I'll vote for the Cards... Since you want them to win.

Edit: Didn't see that Alex I love you, I'll pick that because you are my voice clone.

Being a St. Louis Rams fan I have to pull for Kurt Warner and the Cardinals. It feels like having a piece of the 99-2000 Rams "Greatest show on Turf" team back in the Super Bowl. Plus everyone in the media is picking the Steelers which means I think the Cards will shock the world again

I don't like the football.

But I'm rooting for the Cardinals, because they remind me of the homestate.

I don't really care for American Football, and when I do I usually cheer for the Broncos because they're my dad's team.

In light of the lack of Broncos, I'd say I have to cheer for the underdog, for two reason: 1. Kanti is there; 2. Mrs. Y's uncle is in Phoenix right now, and it would be cool if he's around for celebrations.

But I'm actually going to vote for Alex, just because he's awesome.

I voted for the Cardinals because everyone, except Iggy, likes the underdog. Of course I do prefer the CFL over the NFL.

Its also the Cardinals first super bowl and they have bad rushing so i dont think they deserve to win. I do like a underdog tho mostly in boxing and mma.

I neither want steelers or cards to win! can't they tie? LOL

I'm a HUGE 49ers fan and if steelers win, they'll have 6 rings, more than the niners' 5 rings but niners are still undefeated in SB anyways!

The Cards are in the same division as us and if we didn't screw up that play at the end of that monday night game, things would be much different now!

Niners will be BACK next year so watch out cardinals!!

So depressing man. Way to screw up your defense Arizona.

It's alright though. It wasn't the blow out some people were predicting!
And now the Cardinals have had a taste of glory. Next year we'll be back again!

It was a better game than I thought it would be. Right down to the wire one of the best super bowls ever.

I don' t watch tennis normally but what I meant is that even tennis is more interesting to see for me than AF. The only sports I normally watch is European Soccer.

Yeah the Cardinal's defense played great all game, for the most part, but they really screwed up that last minute.

And Warner certainly deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame.

This is just a little late. I can't believe I missed out on this thread! I love football and since my team is the Baltimore Ravens......I freakin' hate the Steelers. Living in PA I honestly can't figure out what fans are worst, the eagles or steelers!
