Default EarthBound

Absolutely MUST come to the Virtual Console. I would die without it on the Wii.

It'll probably go up eventually...On the US VC.

Whether it goes up for us EU' folk remains to be seen!

It didn't come to Europe back then... But that could mean we'll get a 60Hz version if they decide to make a PAL release, this time.

my friend borrowed this game from an old local importfreak shop in germany, when i first played it on snes i knew this game has much to offer. after i have beaten it i wanted to have this game more than anything else.
i waited for it but it never came.. and as Mother3 was cancelled for N64 i downloaded a rom. i couldnt be any longer without earthbound. i played this on emu like 90% of all european gamers who couldnt import this rare gem.
if nintendo wants us to be this way, don't release it over here.

but i would no doubt get it on Wii, this is my most anticipated SNES title.
i cant understand why nintendo keeps this title away from us forever.

btw. i just started playing earthbound zero and mother3.
earthbound zero is so fun and a great RPG! but i stopped it now in merrysville. i want to experience it on a maybe GBA/DS/VC release.
I can't understand MOTHER3 (obviously its in japanese) but after playing it for 2 hours I realised it has a good chance to be even better than Earthbound. I love it already.

Absolutely, I still have to start playing Mother3 because I dream of EarthBound on VC.

Though M3 needs some extra effort, since I have to play it with a translation guide nearby.

Never really played this series before, but everyone say it's good so if it would be released I probably would buy it.

And besides, have they released a Rom with Mother3? I recently heard that they just found 4 64DD disks marked with "M3" which they thought contained Mother3.

I'm talking of the GBA game of the last year.

The N64 version hasn't been released, so I wouldn't be looking forward for it. In addition the actual M3 seems to be based on that original version (at least the 4 main characters and the few infos we had about EarthBound64 -this the western title-), so I feel this is the only Mother3 that counts.

PS
I love Japanese GBA games packaging and Mother3 packaging alone is worth all the money I paid for the game.
