If I have two DS and two games for the Game Boy Advance, can I connect the two games with the DS Connection, or I need to use the GBA?

You need to use 2 GBAs the DS only supports 1 player in GBA games.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to use a GBA. The DS "link" only works via wireless, so it doesn't have the necessary connector.
