Motivation Mondays - February 6

There wasn't too much done, which turns out to be pretty much a quiet week. Nonetheless, some actions worked on:
  • Statistics updated: Active titles now at 940 as of February 2nd.
  • Detailed "Related Threads" section: Only Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo DS threads are up in that section now.
  • Added [appropriate thread] note to select points in "What is not accepted".
  • Temporarily removed contact section. That info will be moved in the general section soon.

As some of you may have noticed earlier and read, I have no plans of counting the digital distribution versions of Nintendo 3DS retail games. The following reasons are because:
  1. These software are aleady counted in "What 3DS Games do you Own?" thread (although currently in physical, as in game cards).
  2. Lack of SD card storage made available on the market. The highest that is available in stores and/or supported on the Nintendo 3DS is 32GB. A lot of digital downloads of "Nintendo 3DS Game Card" software would be even more space than Nintendo eShop exclusives (3DSDL), providing that not a whole lot of games would fit on it.
  3. Limited use on systems, as only this kind of software can only be played directly from the SD card on one system and has a system transfer limit of 5 times. On the other hand, Nintendo 3DS game cards can be played on unlimited systems (unless I'm mistaken).

In the upcoming days and/or weeks I plan on making some minor changes regarding the tally count on statistics and/or the main list to hopefully make it more understanding and clearer to read. Additionally, there may be other plans that may be made soon.

Thread Feedback

Is there anything that you would like to see improved and to make this game list thread even better? Any content that should be counted, but is not (or the other way around?) Feel free to contact me by any means in these forums or at another source. Your feedback and input is valued, since this thread is part of the VCF community just like all the others. Please don't be shy...Contact me what needs to be changed.
