Default New Pokemon Games.
Hi just wondering, do you people like the new pokemon games on the DS cuz I prefer the old retro version of Pokemon with poke-balls instead of the new Pokemon Ranger DS' capture styler. Whats you opinion

You bought the wrong game.

The regular series of RPG Pokémon games are always named after something related to colours (stones, metals, but it's obvious they're colors).

The actual games are Diamond/Pearl.
Tey're for DS and they're exactly what you may expect.

'Ranger' probably is not a bad game, but it's NOT a pokémon RPG.

Don't worry, they will never change the style of Pokémon RPGs.
If you're European the latest games (diamond/pearl) are not out yet! Wait for them, they're awesome!

[EDIT: I was talking this way beacause reading '...I prefer the OLD retro version...' made me think that you're not aware that Pokémon games are still the same]

I was going to import them, but Ruby and Saphire sucked something rotten. Gold and Silver FTW IMO.

I have no one to play them with as no one has never been big on Pokemon round here and I end off just getting bored half way through.

Ah, you see my post about them or did you already know?

They've got the best price. £37 for both of them, that's only £7 than ONE DS game costs in stores, and you're getting TWO!

I imported Diamond from MovieTyme

Brilliant game, and I'm just about strong enough to start playing on Wi-Fi now

They took a while to deliver the game, but it was well worth it.

Yes, you can look it that way.
Annoying thing is that there are Pokémon you can only obtain in some games. Manaphy is just in Pokémon Ranger.
What will I do when I have all the others poketto monsuta? Hope to find a used copy, sometimes...

It's pretty good, I haven't experianced any lags or anything either, and the voice chat functions work well too.

And the main game is amazing, it's probably the best game available for DS. Get it!

i have bought diamond and it comes out the 21st of june in AUS and im wondering what if it isnt as good as i think it is, then ill have blown $70 on it, is it as good as red, blue, silver, gold, ruby, saphire and emerald

I have heard there is a new pokemon game coming out on the wii it has all the pokemon in it from Sinnoh but if you ask me the pokemon in the Sinnoh region are just terrible.

You re proberly on about Battle Revolution. Its like the Stadium games where you upload your team and do some 3D Battling. On the plus side, it has online play too, and custom trainers to make. ^^

Mystery Dungeon's also getting a sequal too btw.

Really? I didn't realise it was that successful, so a sequel is a bit of a surprise. I might get Mystery Dungeon if I see it cheap sometime!

They're alright, but I've never loved them past the Johto region. I've just completely lost it now though, some of them I don't even recognise from the Hoenn region >_<
