That would depend on the resolution of the picture.

From IGN: "Multiple sources close to Nintendo tell IGN that the company is gearing up to debut the anticipated successor to its DS Lite handheld during the first half of this year in America. More specifically, the company has allegedly relayed to its partners that DSi will ship stateside in early April, most likely on April 4. Insiders assert that they have been told the system will retail for $179.99 when it launches domestically."

At that price point, I'm even less interested than I was before. No, thanks.

That's what the regular DS was at when it was newly released.

Yeah but now most of you already have one or two DS's. Once for 180 sure, but a second or third time?

Exactly, so the same product with less functionality at the end of its life shouldn't cost that same price... I'd consider getting a DSi for like $120.

Yeah, though I didn't buy a DS when it was $180. I bought it used for...$120, I think, or thereabouts right before a price drop at Christmas time. (Bothered me a little. Buying before the price drop, that is.)

I guess I must have had a change of heart since my last post here. I pre-ordered my DSi today.

When I went into the Gamecrazy across from work I asked the manager what the chances would be of me still being able to pre-order the DSi. Apparently, Nintendo will be quite able to meet demand this time around. They've actually received their shipment already, but for obvious reasons can't sell them until Sunday, and they had some units to spare.

When I was talking to my EB folks they had only received two pre-orders, and had shelves full of units left for the general walk-in-and-buy public.

I bought my DS phatty on launch day for $150. Unless you brought through Amazon Marketplace or eBay, it should have cost $150 USD retail.
